The Dig It game has just been updated with a massive new event – Ancient Awakening. This update brings a ton of exciting features, including new shovels, a prehistoric-themed island, quests, new items, and much more. Whether you’re a veteran or a new player, this guide will walk you through all the cool additions and how you can make the most of the update.

What’s New in the Dig It Ancient Awakening Update?

New Island: Jurassic Island

Take a journey back in time to Jurassic Island and dig through the remains of ancient creatures. This new island offers over 50 new diggable items, including fossils and unique materials that can only be found here. The island is filled with platforming challenges, dangerous caverns, and hidden items that will test your skills as a digger. You’ll also find 4 Secret Items buried deep under the soil, waiting for you to uncover. It’s a thrilling new area where only the bravest diggers will prevail!

New Shovels: Claw Shovel & Jawbone Shovel

Along with Jurassic Island, the update introduces two premium shovels that can help you uncover the island’s treasures faster and with more style:

• Claw Shovel: A powerful new tool for digging with speed and precision.

• Jawbone Shovel: A sleek, prehistoric-inspired shovel to dig through even the toughest earth.

New Quest Lines

• Dinosaur Egg Incubation: In this repeatable quest, you’ll help Dr. Fosswell recover fossilized dinosaur eggs hidden across key areas on Jurassic Island. You can team up or dig solo to uncover 5 hidden nests.

• Museum Restock: The Curator Cleo needs help rebuilding the prehistoric exhibit! You’ll be tasked with recovering fossils like the Giant Sloth, Stegosaurus, and Dodo Bird. Return the fossils and watch them be proudly displayed in glass cases for all to admire.

Detonation Event: Journey to the Center of the Earth

In this thrilling event, team up with fellow players to dig through unstable rock and use the Dynamite Shovel to blast open caves. This event rewards everyone in the party once a detonation site is cleared, unlocking access to the Jurassic Caves – a dangerous new area with even more treasures to find.

Summon the Ridley Boss

Deep in the Jurassic Caves, a mysterious scientist awaits. Your task is to assemble the 4 fossil parts hidden throughout dangerous platforming sections. Once you complete the Ridley skeleton, you’ll awaken a terrifying prehistoric boss. Defeat Ridley for a chance to earn exclusive rewards, including:

• Ridley Mount

• Ridley Backpack

• Defeat Ridley 10 times to earn the Dragon Slayer Title.
