How to Get All New Unit in Anime Vanguards Update 5

Anime Vanguards just released Update 5, and it brings a bunch of new units that fans of Dragon Ball Z and Devil May Cry will recognize. What’s New in Update 5?

There are around 10 new units in this update. This includes 7 alternate forms and 2 new familiars. You can find most of the new characters in the Gem Banner, the Legend Stages, the Battle Pass, or through Leaderboard and Mailbox rewards.

1. Gem Banner Units

There are 3 main units added to the gem banner:

• Roku Angel

• Gohan (Adult)

• Hercool

Roku Angel can evolve into Super Vegito. Gohan Adult doesn’t evolve but stands strong on his own. Even though there are only three banner units, some come with alternate forms like Vegito and Vegeta, giving more variety.

2. How to Get Majin Buu

Majin Buu is found in the Legend Stages, specifically the “Land of Gods” stage. After winning, there’s a 2% chance a secret portal will appear. You can’t AFK here, because you’ll miss the portal if it spawns. Keep grinding the stage until the portal shows up. Buu has up to six different forms, making him one of the most complex units.

3. Other Units in Update 5

• Dante and Virgil are Battle Pass rewards.

• Octopus is from the Infinite Leaderboard.

• Little Bee and Stonely are also Leaderboard rewards.

• Lag Shooter is a Mailbox reward.

If you don’t count the leaderboard and mailbox units, you’re left with around six main ones to focus on.

Update 5 doesn’t have a huge number of new characters, but what makes it stand out is how detailed the units are. Many have multiple forms or evolutions, giving players more to work with. If you’re after new powerful characters, this update gives you good reasons to jump back in and start collecting.
