How to Limit Break Anime Rangers X Guide
In Anime Rangers X, you can collect many units inspired by famous anime characters. But collecting them is only the beginning. To make real progress in the game, especially in harder stages, you’ll need to upgrade, evolve, and strengthen your units. One important system you should know is Limit Break, which allows you to raise a unit’s max level beyond the normal cap. Here’s how it works.
How Limit Break Works in Anime Rangers X
To Limit Break your unit, go to the NPC named Dr. Megga Punk. You can find him standing outside the Traits tower. He’s the one wearing a white lab coat. Talk to him, and you’ll get the option to Limit Break the unit you choose. By default, the max level of any unit is 50.
But using Limit Break, you can push that up to 100. Each time you use Limit Break, your unit’s level cap increases by 5 levels, and it will cost 2 Dr. Megga Punk items per upgrade. That means you’ll need to Limit Break 10 times to reach the full level cap of 100.
How to Get Dr. Megga Punk Items
There are two ways to get the items you need for Limit Breaking:
1. From Challenge Mode
Open the Area menu on the left side of your screen and teleport to the Challenge tower. Once there, pick a map and chapter that offers Dr. Megga Punk as a reward. Not all maps will drop this item, so you may need to progress through some earlier chapters first to unlock the ones that do.
2. From the Shop
Another option is to visit the Speed Cart Merchant in the Shop area. This NPC sells random items for Gold or Gems, and sometimes Dr. Megga Punk will show up. When I checked, two Dr. Megga Punk items cost 6,570 Gems. If the item isn’t in stock, just wait until the shop resets (check the timer at the bottom of the shop menu).
Limit Break is one of the best ways to strengthen your favorite units in Anime Rangers X. Reaching level 100 can give you a serious edge in tough challenges and future updates. Start collecting Dr. Megga Punk now, and use them wisely on your strongest units.
