What is Demon: Unlimited City?
Demon: Unlimited City is a 3D idle RPG that takes heavy inspiration from the Demon Slayer anime. It features auto-battle mechanics, allowing your team to grind resources while you’re offline. The goal is to collect powerful Slayers and Demons, upgrade them, and use them in PvE and PvP battles.
Although the game isn’t officially licensed, many of the characters are designed after popular anime figures, which adds an extra layer of fun for fans. That said, not all characters are created equal — and that’s where the tier list comes in.

The tier list is based on several factors including:
- Base Stats and Scaling – How well a character performs at different upgrade levels.
- Skill Set and Utility – Characters with AoE damage, debuffs, or healing are ranked higher.
- Versatility – Some units are strong in both PvE and PvP, while others are more niche.
- Synergy – Characters that perform better when paired with others from the same faction or with buffs that support their playstyle.
Here’s a general idea of how the tiers work:
- S-Tier – Top-performing units in most game modes. These are must-haves if you’re aiming to build a strong, reliable team.
- A-Tier – Solid picks that can carry you through most of the content, especially when upgraded.
- B-Tier – Decent but situational. These can be useful early-game but fall off later.
- C-Tier and below – Characters with poor scaling, weak abilities, or limited usefulness. Only use them if you have no other options.
Keep in mind that the meta can shift with new updates, so it’s always good to stay flexible with your team comps.
Demon: Unlimited City may be an idle game, but who you put in your lineup still matters a lot. Choosing the right Slayers or Demons early on can help you breeze through the stages, dominate PvP, and farm resources faster. This tier list is a great starting point, especially for players who want to avoid wasting time and upgrade materials on weaker units.
If you’re not sure which characters to focus on, always aim for those in the S and A tiers, and keep an eye out for any limited-time units that get released during events. And don’t forget — synergy between units can sometimes be more important than raw power.
