Sakura Stand Gilgamesh Spec Guide, How to Get!

Sakura Stand just dropped a surprise mini update that introduced a brand-new spec — Gilgamesh. With no official cutscene or major announcement, this update has caught a lot of players off guard. If you’re wondering how to unlock the Gilgamesh spec and what you need to do, this guide breaks it all down for you step-by-step. Check out Sakura Stands Codes & Sakura Stand Tier List  if you are new to the game.

Despite being a “mini” update, this patch introduces the Gilgamesh spec through a stealthy release. There are no new maps, but there is a new Holy Grail mode and a Secret Agent quest, both of which are key to obtaining Gilgamesh. Interestingly, the spec is temporarily available through the banner system, but that’s only part of the process.

How to Get Gilgamesh in Sakura Stand

1. Gilgamesh is in the Banner (Temporarily)

You can try your luck with the banner pulls using tokens. Each roll costs 600 tokens, and players have reported needing tens of thousands to hit pity. It’s a gamble — so if you want to save your resources, follow the alternate method below.

2. You Need Two Key Items

To unlock Gilgamesh, you must collect two unique items:

  • One from the Holy Grail event
  • One from completing the Secret Agent quest

How to Get the Holy Grail Item

  • Enter the Holy Grail Mode (limited-time event)
  • You need to win the mode to receive the Holy Grail Key.
  • But here’s the twist: winning doesn’t always guarantee the item drops. Some players have beaten it and walked away empty-handed, while others got alternate drops.
  • Cooldowns: After losing, you’ll face a cooldown timer (around 1.5 hours).

Meta Tip: Use characters like Stark or Gojo for AoE and i-frame abilities. These are especially helpful when everyone hits 1 HP during the final phase. The storm mechanic closes in over time. Time your Gojo Domain or similar AoE moves 35 seconds after the bubble stops shrinking for maximum damage.

How to Complete the Secret Agent Quest

This quest is found by talking to a hidden NPC at the highest peak. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Kill Dio (boss spawn)
  • Kill a player using Stalo
  • Win a 1v1 match
  • Use /e makingshape command 20 times

None of these are particularly grind-heavy, but Dio can be buggy or hard to find. Some players have waited nearly an hour just for the game to kick them before he appeared. You may need patience or luck here.

What to Do After Completing Both Tasks

Once you’ve completed the Holy Grail mode and the Secret Agent quest, you’ll have the two items needed for Gilgamesh. At this point:

  • Turn them in (or just wait for the unlock prompt)
  • If all works correctly, you’ll receive the Epic of Gilgamesh — the spec unlock

In case of bugs, some players have reported missing items even after finishing everything. If this happens, your only real option might be contacting a dev for help.

While this update might seem small, the challenge and secrecy around Gilgamesh’s release add a fun twist. Instead of just grinding or pulling endlessly, players need to engage with event modes and hidden quests — a refreshing change of pace.

If you’re aiming for Gilgamesh, be prepared to go through some frustrating moments, but the payoff might just be worth it. Make sure to use strong characters, time your skills wisely, and — most importantly — don’t rely solely on the banner if you’re low on tokens.
