Cookie Run Kingdom Beast Raid: Key to the Heart Mechanics Explains

This new Beast Raid consists of three main phases:

1. Poison Phase
2. Steel Phase
3. Final Assault with all 10 Cookies

Throughout the raid, you’ll need to fill meters tied to Poison or Steel damage types to trigger powerful effects like Voice of Sloth. The raid also includes two mini-games that require clicking or tapping during the battle, so playing on a phone is highly recommended for ease of interaction.

Best Team for Phase 1: Poison Damage Team

This phase is all about triggering the Poison Damage meter. Once full, it unleashes accumulated damage on the boss. Here’s the recommended Poison Team setup:

Team Composition

• Eternal Sugar (Full Swift Chocolate) – Main DPS
• Matcha Cookie (Full Swift Chocolate) – Cooldown focused
• Prune Juice Cookie (Cooldown + ATK mix)
• Black Sapphire Cookie (Full Raspberry, focused on Poison DMG)
• Star Coral Cookie (Full Swift Chocolate, utility support)

Treasures

• Dream Conductor Whistle
• Squishy Jelly Watch

The main goal is to build up Poison Damage quickly to fill the boss’s damage meter. Eternal Sugar is highly effective here, but there are alternatives if you don’t have her leveled.

Best Team for Phase 2: Steel Damage Team

Phase two swaps to focusing on Steel-type damage. To maximize efficiency, build around the strongest current Steel cookies.

• Cream Ferret Cookie – Support with healing and extra damage

Toppings

• Full Peanut (DMG Resist, HP, Crit) for tanks
• Full Searing Raspberry (with Cooldown) for DPS
• Swift Chocolate (Cooldown) for Cream Ferret

This team is currently a work in progress and might improve once Halleberry Awakened releases. You may see lower output compared to Poison team, but it plays a key role in filling the second phase meter.

Phase 3: Final Assault with All Cookies

Once both phases are complete, all 10 cookies join for a full-damage burst phase. You’ll need to:

• Click on cookies who fall under a spell (to wake them up)
• Use skills on the sides when the chariot arrives
• Dodge mini-game obstacles during the chase scene

These mechanics can be tough on PC. Mobile users have an easier time tapping, while PC users should set custom key bindings.

The Poison Team is currently the strongest setup for expert Beast Raid: Key to the Heart. The Steel Team is more of a secondary phase solution, and still developing with potential future updates.
