How to Get One-Eyed Ghoul in Ghoul://RE Guide
Getting the One-Eyed Ghoul (OEG) race in Ghoul://RE is one of the hardest but most rewarding goals in the entire game. It offers powerful regeneration, a huge edge in PvP, and a unique storyline path. But to unlock it, you’ll need to go through a long list of steps, some of which require wiping your slot and starting over—with progress carrying over from your CCG side. If you’re serious about getting this race, here’s everything you need to know. Also check out Ghoul Re Codes for those interested in the game!
One-Eyed Ghoul Requirements Ghoul Re

Before anything, here are the main requirements to begin the quest:
- Max level as CCG
- 100,000 reputation
- 30 Perma-Death (PD) grips
- Arata Quinx unlocked
Once you’ve completed all four on one CCG slot, you’re eligible to begin the transformation process.
Step-by-Step Guide to Unlocking One-Eyed Ghoul
1. Max Out a CCG Slot
You need to completely progress a CCG character. This means hitting max level, getting at least 100,000 reputation, securing 30 PD grips, and unlocking Arata or Quinx.
2. Wipe Your CCG Character
Once you’ve done the above, wipe your CCG slot during a Perma-Death event. This is required—no skip or shortcut.
Important: Make sure to remember the weapon you had before wiping, because you’ll need to get it back later.
3. Start a New Slot as Human (Not CCG or Ghoul)
After the wipe, choose the same slot and go Human. You’ll receive a prompt:
“A strange sensation washes over you…”
This signals you’re eligible for the OEG questline.
4. Find Rezi at Anteiku
While still Human, go to Anteiku and speak to Rezi (make sure you are not CCG or Ghoul when doing this). If you’re affiliated with CCG again, you’ll have to wipe once more.
5. Complete Rezi’s Questline
To proceed, you’ll need to:
- Reclaim Your Weapon: Get the exact weapon you had before wiping. This is why using a common weapon before wiping is recommended.
- Reach Peak Again: Regain Arata/Quinx and exceed your previous reputation and PD grips. Essentially, you need to surpass your previous CCG progress again.
6. Talk to Rezi Again
Once you’ve reclaimed your peak performance, return to Rezi. She’ll give you the next major task: find Dr. Kano.
7. Access Dr. Kano’s Lab
This part only becomes available after Rezi gives you confirmation. Head to the CCG elevator, where a new button will appear during a Perma-Death event. Press it to access Dr. Kano’s laboratory.
Is One-Eyed Ghoul Worth It?

From early feedback, One-Eyed Ghoul is insanely strong, especially in PvP. The health regeneration is borderline broken, and the damage output scales well even if you’re not highly skilled. Combining it with powerful gear like Kakuja can make you near-unstoppable in the right hands. However, the grind is real. You’re essentially maxing out two CCG careers on the same slot, and wiping progress once in the middle.
Unlocking One-Eyed Ghoul Ghoul Re is a serious commitment. It demands high-level grinding, strategic wiping, and careful quest completion. But the payoff is massive—access to one of the most powerful race types in the game. If you’re aiming to dominate in PvP or just want the bragging rights of owning the rarest race, it’s definitely worth the effort. Just be ready for the long haul. Good luck, and may your wipe be worth it.
