Adopt Me! is back with a fresh update introducing four brand-new pets—and it’s stirring up excitement and debate in the community. Whether you’re a collector or just curious about the new additions, this guide will walk you through how to get all four pets, what they cost, and which ones are worth your Bucks or Robux.
What Are the 4 New Pets in the Update?
This update includes three variations of the new moose pets and one new uncommon animal. Here’s the full list:
- Daddy Moose (Legendary – 2.5% chance)
- Moose Calf (Legendary – 10% chance)
- Mama Moose (Ultra Rare – 87.5% chance)
- Muskrat (Uncommon – 950 Bucks)
Now, let’s break down how to get each of them.
1. Daddy Moose – Legendary
The Daddy Moose is the rarest of the moose trio. It has a 2.5% drop rate (1 in 40 chance) and is only available through Moose Treats, a consumable item that costs 199 Robux per use.
Here’s the math:
- On average, it takes 40 treats to get a Daddy Moose.
- That’s 7,960 Robux if you’re aiming to get it purely through purchasing treats.
While this pet is a flex-worthy legendary, many players question if it’s worth the high price tag, especially since its design isn’t drastically different from the more common versions.
2. Moose Calf – Legendary
The Moose Calf is a baby moose and comes with a 10% drop rate (1 in 10 chance) from the same Moose Treat item.
Although it’s more common than the Daddy Moose, it’s still considered a legendary. Many players find the Moose Calf cuter and more appealing, especially since it’s visually distinct as a baby version of the moose.
3. Mama Moose – Ultra Rare
Mama Moose is by far the most common moose pet, with an 87.5% chance of being obtained using a Moose Treat. That means nearly 9 out of 10 players will get this pet per treat.
Even though it’s ultra rare, its appearance closely resembles the other moose pets—minus the horns. A simple trick is to dress it up with antler accessories from the pet wear shop, making it look just like the legendary variants at a lower cost.
4. Muskrat – Uncommon (950 Bucks)
The only pet in this update that doesn’t require Robux is the Muskrat, which costs 950 Bucks and is available directly from the campsite. It replaces the Possum (which cost 800 Bucks) and will soon be the new uncommon pet available at the camp shop.
Although some players feel the price increase isn’t justified, especially for a pet of the same rarity, the Muskrat’s design has received positive feedback. Many say it looks more like a cute hamster than a muskrat, making it a charming addition to your collection.
What Pets Are Leaving the Game?
As new pets arrive, some old ones are leaving. Here’s the status:
- Possum – Permanently removed. Buy it now if you want to own this soon-to-be-vaulted pet.
- Firefly – Removed from the camping shop, but still available in the regular pet shop for Robux.
If you’re looking to invest in pets that might gain value over time, grabbing a few extra Possums before they disappear might be a smart move.
Aside from this guide, we had also made how to get the Moose pet for free guide. Will you be trying your luck with moose treats, or are you planning to save your Bucks for the Muskrat in Adopt Me? Either way, this update has something for everyone—just make sure you act before the older pets are gone for good.
