The Honey currency is one of the main highlights introduced during the Bizzy Bee Event in Grow a Garden!. It’s a limited-time event currency that can be used to unlock exclusive items, seeds, pets, and decorations. If you’re unsure how to earn Honey or what it can be spent on, this guide covers everything you need to know to make the most of the event.
How to Get Honey
Honey isn’t just lying around—players must take part in specific event mechanics to earn it. Here’s how it works step-by-step:
1. Join the Swarm Event
Every 60 minutes, a Swarm Event will start. During this time, bees will fly from the hive and pollinate your growing fruits. These pollinated crops will transform into Pollinated-Mutated Fruits, which are key to producing Honey.
2. Collect Pollinated Fruits
Once the Swarm Event ends, check your garden and harvest the pollinated crops. These crops look slightly different from regular ones due to their unique mutation and are required for the next step.
3. Use the Honey Combpressor
Bring the pollinated fruits to the Honey Combpressor, a machine introduced specifically for the event. Placing these fruits inside the machine will convert them into Honey, the event currency.
What You Can Buy with Honey
Once you’ve built up a stash of Honey, head over to the Honey Shop or trade with the Queen Bee to start spending it. Here are the items you can purchase:
1. Honey Shop Items
Although some prices are still listed as TBD, these are the confirmed items available for purchase:
- Bee Egg – A mysterious egg, possibly hatching into a bee pet.
- Honey Crate – A loot crate containing random honey-themed items.
- Honey Seed Pack – Contains new event-exclusive seeds like Nectarine, Foxglove, and more.
- Royal Jelly – A special item inspired by Bee Swarm Simulator, may have pet evolution or crafting purposes.
2. Decorations and Equipment
In addition to functional items, Honey can also be used to buy new cosmetic and gardening tools:
- Honey Sprinkler
- Bee Chair
- Honey Torch
- Honey Walkway
- Hive Tree (upcoming)
- Bee Crate
These can add style and personality to your farm while giving a nod to the bee-themed event.
3. Trading with Queen Bee
The Queen Bee, located at the center of the map, also accepts Honey. She offers items like:
- Bee Egg
- Honey Crate
She may also have cutscenes and special interactions like the “BeeNado” animation during the event, making her trades more immersive.
Honey is a limited-time currency tied directly to the Bizzy Bee Event, but it offers some of the most unique items in Grow a Garden!. From exclusive seeds to potential pets and stunning decorations, it’s well worth investing your time into collecting as much as possible. Make sure to participate in the Swarm Events, gather pollinated fruits, and visit the Honey Shop often before the event ends on June 7, 2025. Happy harvesting!
