Universal Piece has just released an update featuring the new character and gear set called Doomslayer. If you’re wondering where to find Doomslayer, how to get the materials needed, and whether it’s worth investing your time, this guide breaks down everything you need to know. Also check out our Universal Piece Codes and Beginner Guide for those that are new to the game.

Where to Find Doomslayer NPC and Materials

The Doomslayer NPC is located on Cold Island. To unlock Doomslayer, you’ll need:

  • 25 Raw Diamonds
  • 8 Blade Spares
  • Some Gems
  • A bit of in-game cash

How to Get Blade Spares Factory Raid

Blade Spares are the trickiest part of the requirement, and you’ll get them mainly from the Factory Raid, which works as follows:

  • The Factory Raid supports up to 6 players.
  • It consists of 10 waves of enemies.
  • You’ll face a boss at wave 5 and two bosses at wave 10.
  • Blade Spares drop from bosses in the final wave and from the raid chest at the end.
  • The Blade Spare drop rate is around 8%, while Doomset accessories drop at about 3%.
  • The bosses you face are random in each raid, so expect some variety.
  • If you die during the raid but your team finishes it, you’ll still get the raid chest, and top damage dealers will get the boss chest.

What Else Can You Get from the Factory Raid?

Aside from Blade Spares, the Factory Raid is also a good place to farm:

  • Raw Diamonds
  • Gems
  • Doomset Accessories (required for link orbs for Shinron)
  • Other boss drops

How to Get Raw Diamonds

Raw Diamonds can be collected by:

  • Completing the Factory Raid
  • Mining on the Mining Island

This makes it easy to gather Raw Diamonds both passively (mining) and actively (raids).

Doomslayer’s Moves and Performance

  • Doomslayer has two main moves, including a Z-move with an air variation.
  • Visually, the moves look sharp and cool.
  • However, when it comes to damage output, Doomslayer’s weapon is considered average or “mid-tier.”
  • The Doomset accessory also performs worse than other popular accessories like the Adapt Wheel and Cursed Scarf.

Is Doomslayer Worth It?

Despite the flashy look and cool design, Doomslayer’s weapon and accessories don’t stack up well against other top-tier options. Players generally recommend focusing on other items like:

  • Monarch Daggers
  • System Breaker
  • King of Han

Doomslayer brings fresh content and a fun new raid experience to Universal Piece, but in terms of raw power and effectiveness, it falls short of the current best gear in the game. If you enjoy the raid or want the cosmetic appeal, it’s worth checking out. However, if your goal is to maximize your power and farming efficiency, your time might be better spent on other gear sets. Keep grinding, stay updated on the latest Universal Piece content, and pick the gear that suits your playstyle best.
