Blue Lock: Rivals has officially launched its much-anticipated Ranked Mode, adding a new layer of competitive gameplay. This guide breaks down everything you need to know about the ranked update, including how to get started, the ranking system, rewards, and the King Awakening refresh.

How to Access Ranked Mode

To begin your climb in the ranked mode, talk to the new Ranked NPC in-game. This NPC opens up the ranked UI, similar to previous event and tournament interfaces. Once accessed, you can choose to: Play solo, or Invite up to three other players to form a party. Every match you play impacts your ranking and progression through the season.

What is Ranked Mode?

Ranked mode is a competitive 4v4 game mode where you progress through multiple divisions and tiers. Your rank depends on your performance in matches, measured by ELO points, and your success in completing milestone quests. There are nine ranked tiers, each divided into three divisions with five milestones per division. The tiers, from lowest to highest, are:

• Rookie
• Bronze
• Silver
• Gold
• Platinum
• Diamond
• Elite
• Challenger
• Champion

To move up, you need to complete milestone quests in each division.

Milestone Quests

Milestone quests track specific in-game objectives that become harder as you advance tiers. These quests include:

• Scoring goals
• Winning games
• Earning MVP
• Breaking ankles
• Getting assists
• Stealing balls
• Awakening your character a few times

Each milestone completed grants a one-time reward per ranked season.

AI Difficulty Scaling

The AI goalkeeper becomes tougher as your rank increases, adding a challenge for players climbing the ladder.

Rewards and Season Length

Each ranked season lasts 45 days. Your performance not only moves you up the ranks but also earns rewards at different milestones.

• The top 250 players in the Champion tier receive a custom limited cosmetic and a Worldclass Style Card Pack.
• The top 50 players get a better version of these rewards.

• The top 3 players earn the best exclusive cosmetics and the Worldclass Style Card Pack.

Each cosmetic improves in quality the higher you rank. The top 3 players also receive the rewards of the top 50 and top 250 players, while the top 50 players get the rewards of the top 250 players.

You can select your preferred style from three options in the Worldclass Style Pack.

King Awakening Refresh

Alongside the ranked update, the King Awakening system has been refreshed to complement the new competitive gameplay, enhancing character progression and abilities.
