Hero Grandline Vanguards Devil Fruit Guide & How to Get Them All!

Grand Line Vanguard has introduced a major new feature for high-level players: Devil Fruits, unlocked at level 120. These powerful items bring fresh strategies and combat enhancements, offering buffs, healing, speed boosts, and heavy damage effects. If you’ve just reached level 120 or want to prepare early, here’s a complete breakdown of what Devil Fruits do and how to get them. Also check out our Grandline Vanguards Tier List & Codes for those that are new to the game.
What Is the Devil Fruit Feature?
Once you hit level 120, a new section will appear under the “Favorite” menu, allowing you to equip up to four Devil Fruits to support your team. Each slot needs to be unlocked and upgraded using a special material called Devil Fruit Sample. You can collect Devil Fruit Samples from the following activities:
- Devil Fruit Salvage
- Advance Customization
- Uncharted Seas Mode
When equipped, these fruits grant your team passive and active effects at the start or during battle, depending on their type. Think of them like additional support units or artifacts that can swing the fight in your favor.
Best Devil Fruits to Use
Here are some of the top-performing Devil Fruits (especially S-Tier ones) and what they do:
- Azur Dragon Form: Boosts team speed and deals physical damage to all enemies. Ideal for round one.
- Rumble Rumble Fruit: Inflicts physical damage with bonus effects depending on debuffs. Can stun enemies with multiple removable buffs.
- Tremor Fruit: Deals magical damage to 1–5 enemies and has a chance to stun. Better for mid- or late-rounds.
- Phoenix Fruit: Heals based on max HP and gives a “shelter” (likely a shield) to low-HP allies.
- Ice Ice Fruit: Deals high damage to one enemy and steals speed from all enemies.
- Singsing Fruit: Removes all debuffs and heals the user significantly.
- Law Fruit: Prevents enemies from receiving buffs using “buff negation” and deals physical damage.
There are also solid A and B-tier options:
- Flowerflower Fruit: Lifesteal and healing for lowest-HP ally.
- Chopchop Fruit: Physical damage and chance to apply armor break.
- Bubble Bubble Fruit: A decent support healer.
- Magnet Magnet Fruit: Temporarily boosts crit rate of your highest-attacking ally.
How to Get Devil Fruits and Materials
Getting Devil Fruits isn’t instant. Here’s the full process:
- Collect Devil Fruit Samples from: Uncharted Seas battles, Egg Head area. Shop (Uncharted Sea Shop), Stage rewards and leaderboard milestones
- Use these samples in a special incubator-like system to “process” them into actual Devil Fruits.
- Wait a few hours for the process to complete (yes, it’s not instant).
- The fruit you receive is random, and the chance of getting an S-tier one depends on the type of material used.
Higher-quality materials (like golden samples) have a better chance of producing top-tier fruits. However, you’ll need to progress far into the Uncharted Seas and leaderboard rewards to reliably get those.
The Devil Fruit system is a big shift in how you build teams in Grand Line Vanguard. With four available slots and many fruits to mix and match, there’s plenty of room to experiment. Whether you need speed, damage, healing, or control, there’s a fruit for every situation.
While the system is partly RNG-based, smart farming and strategic placement can give you a huge edge. Make sure to start collecting samples early and plan your team comps around the effects you get. This feature isn’t just about power—it’s about timing, synergy, and adaptability.
