When building your team in Anime Infinity, it’s important to understand that not all units perform equally across different stages of the game. Some are strong out of the gate, while others only shine after being evolved. To help you get the most out of your lineup, we’ve created two separate tier lists — one for beginners (no awakening/evolution) and one for mid-to-late game players (with awakening). Whether you’re grinding Infinite Mode or pushing through Invasions, these tier lists will help you pick the best characters for your playstyle and progression. Also check Anime Infinity Codes for more redeemable rewards.

Anime Infinity Tier List – Best Units for Beginners (No Awakening)

This list is ideal for players around Level 15+, who are just starting to unlock higher rarity units like LR and SCT, but don’t yet have access to Awakened or Evolved versions.

S-Tier (No Awakening)

  • Goki (Daima SSJ4) – Strong DPS, usable even later; found in Dima Infinite (Nightmare)
  • Najemba – Top-tier SCT; grind through Invasions for this one
  • Ulquorin (Espada) – Solid LR with strong evolved potential
  • Julis – Excellent early support and off-DPS
  • Vegata – Good LR DPS, gets better when evolved
  • Manipulator – Versatile support with Slow; easy to get

A-Tier (No Awakening)

  • Natsa – Good early LR, average late game
  • Grammjow – Weaker than other SCTs but better than most early units
  • Laxas – Useful on stun maps, still needs a buff
  • Sato – The only farm unit; better in Infinite
  • Shin – High DPS UR for early game
  • Mab – Decent UR, accessible for new players

B-Tier (No Awakening)

  • Brolu – Solid beginner DPS, easy to evolve
  • Eduarodo – Good starter LR, obtainable via Battle Pass

C-Tier (No Awakening)

  • Michigo – Okay early unit; shines only when evolved
  • Grey – Base form is weak; needs awakening

D-Tier (No Awakening)

  • Magumi – Very weak; not recommended until buffed

Anime Infinity Tier List – With Awakening/Evo (Late Game)

This list covers the best evolved units, factoring in their power for both Progression and Infinite Mode. Units here are a mix of DPS, support, and utility.

SSS-Tier (Awakened)

  • Najemba (Dimension) – Top-tier SCT DPS; worth the grind
  • Goki (Daima SSJ4 Adult) – One of the best for all modes
  • Ulquorin (Resurrection) – Elite LR unit, easier to evolve than SCTs

S-Tier (Awakened)

  • Julis (Time) – Best support in the game for all content
  • Grey (Destruction Bow) – Stronger evolved form; good for Infinite
  • Vegata (Super) – Top LR DPS
  • Sato – Only farm unit; essential for Infinite runs
  • Manipulator – Strong support with Slow; works in any team

A-Tier (Awakened)

  • Grammjow (Espada) – Needs a buff, still usable
  • Michigo (Vasto Lorde) – Not great for progression, shines in Infinite
  • Eduarodo – Reliable support unit
  • Lexas (Dragon Slayer) – Strong on stun maps, underperforms elsewhere
  • Brolu (RAGE) – Easy to evolve, decent overall

B-Tier (Awakened)

  • Natsa (Fire Dragon King) – Weak in Infinite, okay for early Evo progression

Choosing the right units in Anime Infinity depends on where you are in the game. Early on, you’ll want to focus on versatile LRs and URs that can carry you without needing evolutions. As you reach mid and late game, investing in Awakened units becomes critical — especially for Infinite Mode or top leaderboard runs. Keep this guide bookmarked for reference as you collect, awaken, and upgrade your units. And remember: meta changes with updates, so always be ready to adapt your team.
