Anime Vanguards has just dropped its Update 6.5, and it’s packed with fresh content—especially seven brand-new units for players to collect. All New Units in Update 6.5 & How to Get Them
There are seven units added in this update. They’re split between portal drops, event shops, and summon banners. Here’s how to get each one:
1. Slime King (Remuru)
- How to get: Dropped from Slime Portals (0.5% drop chance).
- Guaranteed Drop: Once inside a portal, defeating the boss gives a 100% drop chance.
- Evolve Requirement: You need a Shamrock item (5% drop chance from portals, tiers 1–10).
- Extra Tip: Slime King is surprisingly common right now, so farming portals is the way to go.
2. Koguro (Secret Unit)
- How to get: Available from the limited-time Spring Banner.
- Drop Method: Requires rolling on the summon banner.
- Note: Koguro is one of the rarest units in this update and might require multiple rolls to obtain.
3. Rudy (Rudeus)
- How to get: Available from the Spring Summon Banner.
- Evolve Requirement: Requires the Magic Dome evolution item from the Spring Shop.
4. Hibana (Himeno)
- How to get: Also part of the Spring Banner pool.
- Evolve Requirement: Needs the Fire Flower item.
5. Marlin (Merlin)
- How to get: Pull from the Spring Summon Banner.
- Evolve Requirement: Needs the Sacred Treasure item and Shamrock.
6. Ark (Arus)
- How to get: Spring Summon Banner.
- Evolve Requirement: Needs Mystic Glasses from the Spring Shop.
7. World Conqueror vs Invincible Unit (World Lines Event)
- How to get: Earned via the World Lines event system.
- Note: These units are special as they’re the first “Invincible” class units in Anime Vanguards.
Where to Get Evolution Items
To evolve these new units, most items can be found in the Spring Shop:
- Anti-Magic Mask – For Slime King
- Mystic Glasses – For Ark
- Fire Flower – For Hibana
- Magic Dome – For Rudy
- Sacred Treasure – For Marlin
Note: Shamrock is only available from Slime Portals (5% drop rate).
Anime Vanguards Update 6.5 offers a good mix of challenge and RNG. While getting banner units depends on luck, portal farming for Slime King is more grind-focused.
