Volleyball Legends just dropped its 24th major update, and it’s packed with quality-of-life changes, performance boosts, balance tweaks, and even a limited-time event to help players unlock secret styles and abilities faster. Whether you’re a casual player or grinding your way through ranked, this patch brings improvements that are worth checking out.
All New Things in Update 24 Volleyball Legends
Performance Improvements
First up, this update brings smoother gameplay thanks to a round of performance optimizations. The devs worked on improving how the game runs across the board—expect less lag and better responsiveness overall.
Ranked Elo & Matchmaking Adjustments
Ranked mode sees a few changes aimed at making it fairer and more rewarding:
- Partial Elo Loss: If a teammate leaves within the first 15 rounds and your team ends up losing, you’ll now only lose 50% of the Elo. This helps reduce punishment for factors out of your control.
- Tighter Matchmaking: Diamond and Pro ranked players will now only be matched with others in their tier. Players outside of these tiers will also be matched based on closer Elo levels.
- Ranked Match History: You can now view your past ranked games under the Career tab, including who you played with and against, along with win/loss data.
Pity System UI Rework
The secret style/ability pity system has been redesigned for clarity:
- You’ll now see a progress bar for your pity status.
- The first pity roll is called a Coinflip Roll (50% chance at your selected secret).
- The second pity roll is now the Guaranteed Roll (100% chance).
Balance Changes
Character tweaks are also part of this update:
- TSO Buff: His serve has been reverted to its original form, making him stronger again.
- Taichou Fix: His set has been fixed to perform as intended.
Ranked Game Handling
To fix issues with broken lobbies:
- If a ranked match has unbalanced teams or missing players, all participants will now be sent back to the lobby after 20 seconds, instead of waiting the full 60 seconds.
UI & Change Log Improvements
- You can now check past updates directly from the change log.
- The change log is accessible from the top-left corner of the main UI.
2x Secret Weekend Event (June 21–23, 2025)
From June 21 at 11:30AM ET until June 23 at 11:30AM ET, enjoy these benefits:
- Secret pity is halved: 200 → 100
- Secret chance doubled: 0.5% → 1%
