How to Unlock the Player Race
To get the new Player Race, you’ll need to complete a specific quest – and it’s not easy. Here’s what to do:
1. Start the Quest
- Go to Verse Town and talk to the NPC that gives the Player Race Quest.
- Your goal is to die 25 times to the Statue God Boss.
2. Find the Statue God Boss
- Head to Runes Island and enter the new double dungeon.
- The dungeon has 5 waves — the Statue Boss only appears on the fifth wave.
- Bring a Blessing Stone to enter. You can farm this from the Sukuna boss in Verse Town.
3. Best Strategy to Die Fast
- Equip weak accessories.
- Reset your stats, especially defense.
- Use bad traits.
- You have just 5 minutes to die 25 times, so speed matters.
Once you’ve died 25 times, a system message will appear. Click Accept to unlock the Player Race.
Unlocking the Arise System & Job Change Quest
After gaining the Player Race, you’ll unlock a follow-up Job Change Quest.
1. Fight Egress
- Head back into the same dungeon and prepare to face Egress.
- Beating Egress will give you access to the Arise System.
2. How to Use the Arise System
- Press G to open the new System UI.
- Use the Arise skill to summon shadows from defeated enemies.
- As you progress, you’ll unlock more options, including Recall functions.
- You can summon powerful enemies like Vasto Ichigo – they hit hard and make boss fights much easier.
This update takes Verse Piece to a whole new level with the ARISE system and new Player Race.
