Grow a Garden just rolled out its Summer Update, and along with all the new crops and events, some powerful glitches and bugs are still sneaking under the radar. Whether you’re looking to duplicate seeds, get early access to unreleased content, or farm unlimited eggs, this guide covers five of the most useful—and still working—glitches in the current update. Use them wisely before the devs catch on and patch them out. Check out our Grow a Garden Codes & Grow a Garden Animals Tier List for beginner.

1. Sprinkler Glitch (AFK Plant Growth Boost)

This is the oldest and most well-known glitch in the game—and the developers have even said they won’t patch it.

How it works:

  • Get one of each sprinkler: Basic, Advanced, Goalie, and Master.
  • Use crops that respond well to sprinkler boosts like Moon Melon, Sugar Apple, Sunflower, and Honeysuckle.
  • Arrange your plants tightly in a circle within the radius of your sprinklers.
  • Place your sprinklers in this order: Master > Goalie > Advanced > Basic.
  • Log off for several hours (ideally overnight).
  • When you return, the crops will have grown massively and can sell for millions (even billions) of Sheckles.

This trick is especially useful for passive players who want to AFK farm huge profits.

2. Basic Seed Pack Glitch (Push & Troll Players)

This is more of a fun/funny glitch than a money-making one, but it’s still working as of the Summer Update.

How it works:

  • Complete your daily quests to earn a Basic Seed Pack.
  • Equip the pack and run into signs, seed chests, or fences.
  • This lets you push other players or even glitch yourself into objects or the ground.

It doesn’t provide any economic advantage but is perfect for trolling or just messing around with friends.

3. Egg Duplication Glitch (Alt Method)

One of the most abusable methods in the current game involves duplicating eggs using an alt account.

Steps:

  • Buy a pet egg on your main account (e.g., Common Summer Egg).
  • Log into an alt account and join the same server.
  • The egg will appear in the shop again—buy it on your alt.
  • To fund your alt, send yourself seeds or money via the gift system.

Why it matters:
This method lets you farm any egg over and over—without waiting for restocks or events. While technically more of a workaround than a true glitch, it’s still unpatched and highly exploitable.

4. Golden Lab Seed Glitch (Early Access to New Seeds)

This is a sneaky glitch that gives you access to unreleased seeds before the update even drops.

How to trigger it:

  • Place several Golden Labs or Dog pets in your garden.
  • These pets have a 5% chance every 60 seconds to dig up random seeds.
  • Before any big update, leave your dogs active in your garden.
  • Players have reported their pets digging up future seeds early.

Real example: Before the Beantock Update, players’ dogs were digging up Beantock seeds days before the patch went live.

5. Squirrel Pet + Reclaimer Glitch (Plant Duplication Exploit)

This is currently the most powerful glitch in Grow a Garden for seed duplication.

What you need:

  • Squirrel Pet (from Mythical Egg) – 2.5% chance to keep a seed when planting.
  • Reclaimer Tool – lets you collect a planted seed back into your inventory.

How it works:

  1. Plant a rare seed (e.g., Beantock, Starfruit).
  2. Use the Reclaimer to dig it back up.
  3. Repeat planting → reclaiming until the seed duplicates via the Squirrel Pet bonus.

This glitch gives players unlimited access to ultra-rare seeds if they’re lucky, and is expected to be patched very soon—so use it while you can.

The Grow a Garden Summer Update brought more than just new crops and events—it left the door open for players to exploit old and new bugs. Whether you’re duplicating seeds with a squirrel pet or letting your sprinklers turbo-grow your Moon Melons overnight, these five glitches offer a huge advantage in farming, profits, and fun.

Just remember: using some of these exploits can lead to bans or data wipes if the devs decide to crack down. If you’re going to try any of these, do it at your own risk—and maybe keep an alt account ready. Grind smart, grow fast, and have fun while these tricks are still around!
