How to Find Fairy in 99 Nights in the Forest Guide

In 99 Nights in the Forest, surviving isn’t just about collecting meat and dodging monsters—you’ll also need to find helpful NPCs like the Fairy. While most players focus on the Pelt Trader, the Fairy is another important vendor you don’t want to miss. In this guide, we’ll break down how to find her, when she appears, and what you can get in exchange for Flowers. Also check out our Beginner guide for 99 Nights in the Forest!
Where to Find the Fairy in 99 Nights in the Forest
The Fairy can be found relatively close to your starting camp area. Her location is not fixed to one exact spot but she usually shows up either northeast or southwest of the camp. To make things easier, open your in-game map and look for a fairy icon—this will guide you directly to her position.
Once you’re nearby, look out for a small mushroom hut—that’s where she’ll be standing. The structure makes her easy to spot, even from a distance. Be aware, though, that the Fairy only appears during the daytime. Once night falls, she vanishes and won’t be accessible until the next day.
And no need to worry about hurting her—she can’t be attacked, even if enemies are nearby or you swing your weapon by accident.
What Does the Fairy Sell?
After you find her, interacting with the Fairy will open up a shop menu. She mainly sells seeds that you can use to grow plants at your camp. Some common items include:
- Berry Seeds – For growing berries that help restore hunger
- Flower Seeds – Useful for trading and decorating your camp
These seeds are incredibly valuable for long-term survival, especially if you’re running low on food or want to avoid venturing far from your camp to forage.
What Are Flowers For?
Flowers are scattered all over the forest and act as a form of currency when trading with the Fairy. You can collect them by pressing E near them, and they’ll be stored in your inventory or sack. Once you’ve gathered enough, bring them to the Fairy to purchase items from her hut.
Planting Flower Seeds near your camp is also a smart move. Not only do they make your base look more inviting, but they give you a renewable source of Flowers for future trades. Since wild flowers don’t grow back, maintaining your own garden is essential.
Always visit the Fairy before nightfall—you won’t be able to find her after dark. Prioritize buying Berry Seeds early on to build a reliable food source. Use the map to quickly locate the fairy icon if you can’t spot her visually. Plant your own Flower plot so you don’t run out of trading currency over time.
The Fairy may not be as flashy as some other characters in 99 Nights in the Forest, but she’s crucial for building a steady food supply and keeping your camp sustainable. Make her a regular stop in your daily routine, and you’ll be much better equipped to handle whatever the forest throws at you.
