How to Get the Humiliation Badge 99 Nights in the Forest Guide

If you’re the type of player who enjoys unlocking every achievement in a game, then you’ve probably noticed that the Humiliation Badge in 99 Nights in the Forest is one of the trickiest to obtain. Unlike other badges, the game gives you no clues on how to unlock it — leaving players guessing and experimenting. Luckily, we’ve figured it out for you. Here’s how you can unlock the Humiliation Badge step by step. Also check out 99 Nights in the Forest Equipment list & 99 Nights in the Forest Hostile Mobs!

What is the Humiliation Badge?

The Humiliation Badge is awarded to players who die from stepping on a Bear Trap. It’s not enough to just take damage — your character must die by the trap to receive this badge. That’s the trick. Getting hurt but surviving won’t work.

Guide to Unlock the Humiliation Badge

1. Upgrade Your Crafting Bench to Level 2

To build a Bear Trap, you need to first upgrade your crafting table. For that, you’ll need:

  • 5 Logs – Chop down trees and process the wood using a processor.
  • 1 Bolt – Gather scrap metal, then process it into a bolt using the same processor.

2. Craft the Bear Trap

Once your crafting table is at Level 2, you can now create a Bear Trap. This requires:

  • 3 Bolts – Again, collect scraps and process them.

3. Place and Trigger the Trap

Place the Bear Trap in front of you and step into it. It will hurt you. But as mentioned earlier, you need to die from it, not just take damage. So, reset the trap and step in again — you may need to do this 3 to 4 times until your character dies.

4. What Happens After You Die?

Once you die from the Bear Trap, you will automatically unlock the Humiliation Badge. Simple as that.

The Humiliation Badge in 99 Nights in the Forest is more of a gag achievement than a serious challenge, but figuring it out without help can be confusing. Now that you know the exact steps, go ahead and craft that Bear Trap, take the fall, and claim the badge. It’s a painful but oddly satisfying way to complete your collection.
