How To Get The Pizza Shovel in Dig Complete Guide

Head to Mount Cinder and Find the Pizza Delivery NPC

• Go to Mount Cinder, the snowy mountain area on the map.
• Spawn your car near the mechanic for faster travel — faster cars help since this quest involves a lot of driving.
• Follow the pizza signs that guide you to the Pizza Penguin NPC.
• Talk to him and accept the pizza delivery quest.

Deliver Pizzas to Various Locations

• The quest requires you to deliver pizzas to penguins scattered around the map.
• After accepting the quest, your screen will mark the location of the penguin to deliver the pizza to.
• Drive or walk to the marked penguin and deliver the pizza.
• Return to the Pizza Penguin NPC to accept a new delivery quest.

Important: You will need to complete around 30 pizza deliveries to unlock the Pizza Shovel.

Since delivery spots are spread far apart — some near Foxtown or Verden Ville — the travel can be time-consuming. Get the Emergency Flare Gun. It instantly teleports you back to Foxtown, letting you quickly spawn your car and make faster deliveries instead of driving back and forth the entire mountain.

Unlocking the Pizza Roller Shovel

After completing about 30 pizza deliveries, you’ll unlock the Pizza Roller Shovel. This shovel has impressive stats:

• 55 Boss Damage (more than double the Candlelight Shovel)
• 8 Control (great handling)
• 13 Strength
• 1.5 Haste
• 9 Luck

Note: The Pizza Roller is now considered better than some previous popular shovels because of its great control, strength, and boss damage.

Pizza Roller Special Ability – Pizza Mutation

• The Pizza Roller shovel has a chance to apply the Pizza Mutation on items you dig up.
• This mutation gives a 1.45x bonus on the price of those items, increasing your profits during digging.
• This makes the shovel valuable not only for fighting bosses but also for farming resources.

Where to Use Your Pizza Shovel

• The Pine Tree Spot is a great place to test the shovel.
• Thanks to its high strength and control, the Pizza Roller digs faster and with less effort.
• It’s especially effective during Meteor Events or Blue Moon Events when you get multipliers like x2 Strength or x2 Luck.
