A major wave of new content is coming to Cookie Run: Kingdom, and things are heating up as we move through the July, August, and September updates. The biggest highlight for many players? The long-awaited arrival of Silent Salt at the end of September.

The news came directly from PD Kim during a developer livestream, where he outlined the update plans in detail. Players can expect major additions every month, including new cookies, free rewards, revamped game modes, and limited-time banners. This isn’t just a small patch; it’s a full roadmap with fresh content and big surprises. Also check out CRK Codes & CRK Tier List for those that are new to the game.

What’s Coming in the July Update?

  • Marshmallow Bunny (Special Cookie) joins the game. She’ll be available through the pavilion, and the saved attempts are increasing from 15 to 24.
  • Two new Epic cookies: Lemon and Orange will be released across July.
  • A new Starlight Island event area is live, allowing for custom decorating.
  • Free daily Rainbow Cube pulls for costumes—worth up to 8,400 cubes total.
  • New epic costumes for Peppermint and Caramel are coming to the Rainbow Crystal shop.
  • Stormbringer gets a Crystal Jam, and legendary cookies get a 2-week rate-up banner.
  • Expect new Cake Tower floors, side stories, and limited-time minigames.

What’s Planned for August?

  • New Epic Cookies: Shine Shell and Sweet Bun are part of the “Merchants of the Unfamiliar Sea” theme.
  • More Epic citrus cookies: Lime and Grapefruit join the roster.
  • A trading-based event mode called Fairway of Glory will challenge players to buy, sell, and profit on the seas.
  • Captain cookies and customizable ships will be introduced, along with balance changes for Tropical Soda Island.
  • My Cookie Adventure gets a major upgrade with new combat mechanics, crafting, and achievement systems.
  • Two older cookies, Mystic Flower and Burning Spice, will be given for free through the new Might of the Beasts system. If you already own them, you’ll receive 20 Soulstones.
  • Expect themed castle designs and story expansions tied to these two.

Silent Salt & What to Expect in September

  • Silent Salt will officially release at the end of September.
  • He is confirmed to be a male character and will be an important part of the ongoing lore.
  • A possible face reveal is hinted, though not confirmed.
  • While originally thought to come alongside Millennial Tree and White Lily, the order has shifted. White Lily is expected in October, and Millennial Tree is now set to arrive by the end of 2025.
  • New guild content is on the way, including a fourth guild boss, team presets, and new tier systems for competitive players.
  • A steampunk-themed guild boss and further balance changes are being explored.
  • Updates to Crystal Jams are planned, starting with Sea Fairy and possibly reworks for older Legendaries like Frost Queen and Moonlight.

The Cookie Run: Kingdom dev team is clearly pushing hard to deliver one of the biggest content runs in the game’s history. From the free Epic cookies to new gameplay systems and lore-driven events, July through September will be packed. The release of Silent Salt marks a key moment in the game’s storyline, and it sets the stage for even bigger events this winter.

If you’re a returning player, now’s a good time to come back. If you’ve been grinding all along, make sure to save up your resources—between the new cookies, special events, and free pulls, you’ll want to be ready. More details on White Lily, Millennial Tree, and the end-of-year content are still to come, so stay tuned.
