The Hatch Event has officially gone live in Emergency Emden, and if you’re looking to collect that exclusive Hatch Badge, this guide will walk you through the entire process. The steps can be a little confusing at first, especially with the size of the map, but once you know what to do, it’s pretty straightforward. Also check out What you can get in finishing the Hatch.

Step by Step Guide to Get the Hatch Badge in Emergency Emden

Step 1: Join the Hatch Event

Start by entering the Emergency Emden Hatch Event. Once you’re inside the game, you’ll spawn at the marketplace area, which acts as the main hub for the event. From here, you can begin your search for the event-exclusive Hatch Egg.

Step 2: Open Your Backpack

Press the M key to open your backpack. Inside, you’ll find an item called the Hatch Egg (or similar). This item can reveal possible egg locations around the map. Make sure to equip or activate it first so you can begin scanning for potential spots.

Note: It might take a few seconds to load or exit certain menus, so be patient.

Step 3: Use the Free Event Car

The developers have provided a free car to help you move around faster. This is essential because the event map is quite large, and walking would take too long. To use the car:

  • Locate the vehicle nearby
  • Click Unlock and Drive

Now you’re ready to move around quickly and start hunting.

Step 4: Look for Eggs Across the Map

Once you’ve activated the Hatch Egg from your inventory, drive around the map and keep an eye out for the actual egg locations. These eggs are scattered randomly, but often appear in high-traffic areas close to the spawn or near buildings. Tips:

  • Check corners and less visible spots
  • If you’re not sure, use the map or egg radar (if available)
  • Eggs may be clustered, so check every area thoroughly

Step 5: Claim the Egg to Get the Badge

Once you find the egg, all you need to do is walk up to it. Your character will interact with it automatically, and you’ll instantly receive the Hatch Badge if it’s your first time claiming it. Make sure to use the car to save time, especially since the game map is quite big and movement speed is slow without it.

The Hatch Event in Emergency Emden is relatively simple, but due to the large map and some clunky UI elements, it can feel a bit confusing. Thankfully, with the free car, the inventory egg scanner, and a little exploration, you’ll be able to get the badge with no major issues. Support the devs if you enjoy the event—and don’t forget to check your badge inventory to confirm it was added. Good luck out there!
