What Is the Rune Slayer Event About?
This brand-new Rune Slayer event is live for a limited time—just two weeks. During this period, you can earn Event Points by killing mobs throughout the world. The number of points you receive scales with the difficulty of the enemies you defeat, meaning higher-level mobs and bosses yield significantly more points.
Event Points are then used to purchase presents and other limited-time items from a new merchant NPC. These presents contain cosmetics, runes, and rare items that won’t be available once the event ends—so time is of the essence if you want to grab something unique.
What’s New: Coral the Merchant and the Event System

In this update, a brand-new NPC named Coral the Merchant has been introduced. Coral is your go-to vendor for exchanging event points for exclusive items. The event runs only for two weeks, so act fast! Every time you kill a mob, you gain event points. The amount you earn scales with the difficulty and level of the monster. For example:
- Killing a Mammoth awards around 23 points.
- A low-level deer only gives 1 point.
- Boss monsters yield significantly more points.
This scaling encourages players to hunt stronger mobs for faster point accumulation.
Coral’s Locations: Where to Find the Merchant

Coral can be found in two main locations:
1. Beginner Town:
Coral stands near the merchant in the beginner area, making it easy for new players to access the event shop.
2. Tundra Region:
This location is a bit more advanced. From the village, head to the mysterious Frontus Rent city, near the Yeti spawn point.
- You will need a Runik to open the gate into the city. Without it, entry isn’t possible.
- Once inside, Coral is right in front of the gate, ready for trades.
Best Way to Farm Event Points: Focus on Tundra
If you want to farm event points efficiently, the Tundra area is your best bet. High-level mobs and bosses there drop more points, allowing you to quickly rack up over 1,000 points in just about 30 minutes of farming. This makes it the optimal farming spot during the event.
What Can You Get From Coral?
Coral’s shop sells presents that contain limited edition items exclusive to the event. Presents cost only 150 event points each, which is about the reward of killing 2-3 mid-level mobs—very accessible! Items available include:
- Rune Carver
- Angelic Rune
- Adulan Rune
- Satanic Rune
Opening a present grants a random item from this limited pool. Some notable drops include capes with bonus intellect, spirit, and cold resistance—great for boosting your stats and enhancing your gameplay.
Focus your farming on Tundra to maximize points. Don’t hesitate to spend points on presents—they’re cheap and the rewards are worth it. Keep an eye on Coral’s shop as the event lasts only two weeks. If you get rare or cool items, share them with the community or showcase them on Discord to celebrate your luck! This event adds exciting new content to Rune Slayer, blending challenging farming with rewarding gear. Take advantage of the update, gear up, and enjoy the new limited items while they last!
