How to Get Unbound Etri in ASTD X
There are two main methods to obtain Unbound Esdeath (Etri):
1. Through Trials
You need to be at least Level 25 to unlock the Trials mode. Once unlocked, you can try your luck here. However, be ready for a grind because the chances of getting Etri are low:
- 1% chance in Regular difficulty
- 10% chance in Strategist difficulty

2. Using the Star Scroll (Etri)
If you don’t want to grind Trials, you can skip the wait by purchasing Unbound Etri directly:
- Go to the Trial Shop and buy the Star Scroll (Etri) for 250 Trial Shop Tokens.
- Then, open your Items tab, select the Star Scroll (Etri), and hit Use to instantly get Unbound Etri.
How to Ascend Unbound Esdeath (Etri)
After obtaining Etri, you can ascend her to boost her stats and unlock hidden upgrades. Ascending requires several materials and meeting some conditions. Here’s a breakdown of everything you need and how to get it:
- 10x Etri’s Rapier Rewards from Trials: 50% chance in Regular, 100% in Strategist mode.
- 5x EXP IV Earn EXP I & II by playing Infinite mode.Combine these in the Items tab to create EXP IV.
- 7x Ghost I (Blue) Play Challenges (Daily Challenge, Future City, Hidden Storm Village – Random Units) on Hard difficulty to get Ghost Eggs.Transform Ghost Eggs into Ghost I (Blue) in the Items tab.
- 7x Ghost III (Rainbow) Play Challenges on Expert difficulty with a 30% chance to get Ghost III (Rainbow).You can also combine Ghost I and II (Rainbow) to make Ghost III (Rainbow).
In addition to these materials, you also need:
- 7,500 Gold Coins
- 500 Eliminations
Once you have everything, go to the Units tab, select Etri, then tap the 7,500 Gold Coin button (there is no separate Ascend button) to ascend your Unbound Esdeath.
