RogueBlox Permadeath Guide – How It Works and How to Survive

Permadeath is one of the core mechanics that makes RogueBlox both thrilling and unforgiving. Every decision in combat matters, and every death comes with real consequences. In this guide, we’ll explain how the permadeath system works, what happens when you lose all your lives, and how you can recover lost lives to extend your run.

How Permadeath Works in RogueBlox

In RogueBlox, your character is not invincible. When you create a new character, they will start with a limited number of lives:

• Phantom Race: Starts with 4 lives
• All Other Races: Start with 3 lives

You can see your current number of lives above your mana bar during gameplay. Each time your character dies in battle, you will lose 1 life.

What Happens When You Reach 0 Lives?

Once your life count reaches zero, you will be sent to The Crimson, a limbo state where you must decide your next move. From here, you have three options:

1. Wipe Your Character
   This will erase your current character, forcing you to start over from scratch.
2. Reroll Your Race (Robux required)
   If you’re looking for a fresh experience or want to try your luck with another race, you can spend Robux to reroll.
3. Buy a Second Chance from the Prince (Robux required)
   This option will let you continue with your current character, but with only 1 life left. Keep in mind, this second chance can only be purchased once per character.

How to Get Lives Back

Losing lives is tough, but not the end—there are ways to restore them:

• Find and collect Life Crystals, which are scattered across the world.
• Life Crystals can be obtained through exploration, quests, or possibly from defeating strong enemies and bosses.
• Keeping your life count up is essential, especially when you’re grinding late-game content or exploring dangerous zones.
