Grow a Garden Pet Mutation Update Guide, What’s Coming Soon!

The world of Grow a Garden on Roblox is getting ready for one of its biggest updates yet. This time, the developers are introducing the highly anticipated Pet Mutation System, buffs for Bone Blossom, and several new features like a trading system and possibly a new area through a portal. If you’re still busy farming during the Prehistoric event or planting Bone Blossom, this is the perfect time to prepare. Pet Mutation System – What It Does & Where to Find It

One of the main features in this update is the Mutation Machine, a new tool that allows you to upgrade your pets. Once mutated, pets will gain new abilities like faster movement, higher stats, or special effects that haven’t existed in the game before. According to leaks, this machine will be located near the pet eggs area, making it easy to access. You’ll also notice a new “claim pet” button, suggesting this system is just about ready for launch.

New Pets with Unique Designs

Several new pet and plant designs are rumored to be added soon. Some of these were originally fan-made and have been considered “too good” to leave out of the game. Here are a few we may see:

  • Pets with laser effects
  • Alien-themed or mutated plants
  • Zombie pets, possibly as part of an event or limited collection

One unique plant, Divine Beacon Bloom, is even said to have higher value than Bone Blossom, meaning we might get a new top-tier plant for income.

Bone Blossom Might Be Buffed

Bone Blossom used to be a solid pick but recently got overshadowed by Candy Blossom. The reasons are simple:

  • Candy Blossom weighs less, so you can carry more for shekels
  • Candy Blossom gives 6–7 candies per harvest, while
  • Bone Blossom only gives 4 bones

With the community pushing back, it’s highly likely that Bone Blossom will receive a buff in the upcoming update. If you still have them, don’t sell just yet—their value could go up again soon.

New Trading System

A new trading system is also on the way. Based on early previews, this feature will offer a more fair and transparent barter-style system, reducing the chances of scams. This has been long requested by players and will make trading much safer and easier.

Pet Interface Overhaul

The pet selection menu is getting a rework. Soon, pet eggs will appear in a scrollable interface, giving more space for new additions. This strongly hints at new eggs being added soon—either to replace or expand the current lineup.

Portal and Possible New Area

Some rumors mention a portal appearing on the map, which might lead to a brand-new area. It’s not clear yet if this will be for a second garden, an event area, or an exploration zone. But if it’s true, it could open up new gameplay possibilities and more farming space.

This Grow a Garden update is shaping up to be a major game-changer. From pet mutations and plant buffs, to UI updates and potential new zones, there’s a lot to be excited about. While some of the leaks aren’t confirmed, all signs point to something big. If you haven’t picked up a Bone Blossom yet, now might be the time. Keep grinding quests and get your best pets ready—because once this update drops, the game’s going to feel brand new.
