What You need Before Getting Gate?
Before embarking on your journey, ensure you have these two critical items:
- Scroll of Gate: This item can be found in any high-tier chest.
- Kurduan Heirloom: Also obtained from high-tier chests.
Both items are frequently acquired by farming monsters and opening chests in the Jungle area. The Jungle monsters are relatively easy to defeat, especially with classes that possess aimable attacks.
Initiating the Quest: Locating the Elder
Your quest for the Gate spell begins by finding a specific NPC who will provide the initial tasks.
- Cross the Main Bridge: Navigate across the large bridge in the game world. Exercise caution to avoid falling.
- Traverse the Desert: After crossing the bridge, adhere to the right side of the path. Be vigilant and avoid the hostile cactus enemies, as they can be dangerous.
- Acquire a Glider (If Needed): Continue along the right path until you discover a glider spawn point. If you do not already possess one, acquire it, as it is crucial for the subsequent step.
- Glide to the Pylon: Utilize the glider to cross any gaps and reach the platform where a pylon is located. Activate this pylon to establish a spawn point.
- Engage the NPC: Near the activated pylon, you will encounter an NPC. Interact with him, progressing through his dialogue. He will mention a “book” and eventually instruct you to retrieve the “City of Clouds” book from Tintagel.
Retrieving the “City of Clouds” Book from Tintagel
- Tintagel is the next key location in your quest.
- Journey to Tintagel: Travel from the Forest region towards Tintagel.
Entering Tintagel:

- Glitch Method: Non-Orderly players can attempt to glitch inside by repeatedly dash-jumping against the wall until they phase through. This may require practice to master the timing.
- Cooperative Entry: Alternatively, an “Orderly” aligned friend can guide you through the doors.
Locate the Book: Once inside Tintagel, proceed towards the location of the Grand Knight Trainer. The “City of Clouds” book will be found in this vicinity.
How to Learn the Gate Spell
With the “City of Clouds” book in your possession, return to the NPC who initially sent you on this task.
- Return to the Initial NPC: Speak to the NPC near the pylon once more. He will now offer to transport you to the Dojo.
- Arrive at the Dojo: The NPC will teleport you directly to the Dojo.
- Find the Gate Trainer: Within the Dojo, locate the Gate trainer.
- Present the Kurduan Heirloom: The trainer will request a “Kaoshin earring.” Provide him with your Kurduan Heirloom.
- Pay the Fee: After handing over the heirloom, you will be prompted to pay a fee of 1,000 in-game currency.
- Acquire Gate: Upon successful payment, you will officially learn the Gate spell.
Activating Gate Spots: All Monolith Locations
While you now possess the Gate spell, you must activate specific Monoliths across the map to unlock various teleportation destinations. Each monolith requires you to interact with a pylon and correctly input a sequence of colors.
1. Sky Monolith
- Location: Typically found on a floating island or in a high-altitude area.
- Activation: Click the pylon and observe the quickly displayed color sequence. Reproduce the sequence accurately to activate the monolith.
2. Desert Monolith
- Location: Situated near the desert town. From the town, proceed towards the right side of the area.
- Activation: Press the white button on the pylon. A confirmation message, “Desert Monolith Activated,” will appear.
3. Forest Monolith
- Location: Deep within the forest.
- Requirement: You will need Dynamite to access this monolith. Dynamite can be purchased from the blacksmith area in Ritherhelm.
- Activation Sequence: The sequence for this monolith is Blue, Purple, Red, Orange, Green.
4. Jungle Monolith
- Location: Found in the Jungle area. Follow a distinct path of trees. Be aware of a Demogorgon monster that may be present in this region.

5. Beach Monolith (Volcano Area)
