What Are Ancient Writings?

Ancient Writings are collectible items in Rogueblox that provide cryptic hints about artifact locations and how to unlock them. Each volume contains parts of the story and puzzle you’ll need to solve. While they don’t give you artifacts outright, they’re essential if you’re serious about uncovering all of the game’s hidden content.

How to Find All Artifact Books

Volume 1 – Found in the Tundra

• Start by entering the Tundra biome.
• Take the left path and head out into the snowy terrain.
• After a bit of walking, look for a mountain with a hole in the wall near its base.
• Climb up and go inside — this is where you’ll find Ancient Writing Volume 1.
• Inside, you’ll see strange writings on the wall and an NPC said to grant wishes. The book will be nearby.

Volume 2 – Found Near the Castle (Orderly Required)

• Start from the same area you used for Volume 1.
• Move toward the large bridge guarded by a golem. You can dodge or fight it.
• Cross the bridge and head toward the castle in the distance.
• You must be Orderly aligned to access this area.
• Once inside the castle, take the left path. You’ll find a room containing Volume 2 near the Seeker of Worlds book.

Volume 3 – Found Near the mountain

• Start from Sanctorum and Climb the mountain.
• From the top of a mountain near the area, locate the village below.
• Glide or climb down into the village, then head left past the first cave entrance.
• A second cave will appear farther down — head inside.
• Climb through the inner structures until you reach the top.
• Volume 3 will be on a platform at the very end.
