With Aura Kingdom Impact gearing up for its official release, many players are asking one question: Which class should I start with? Whether you enjoy fast-paced melee action, massive AoE spells, or flexible hybrid playstyles, this guide breaks down every launch class, their strengths, and how they rank on the tier list. So let’s dive into each class and help you pick the best one for your journey.

Can You Switch Classes?

Yes – you’re not locked in. Aura Kingdom Impact lets you change classes freely using the weapon library system. You can store all six weapons and switch between them without losing your main level. You’ll also get all six Eidolons as you progress through the game, so feel free to experiment without fear of falling behind.

Aura Kingdom Impact Class Tier List

Here’s our current tier list ranking based on damage output, flexibility, PvE efficiency, and mobility:

  • S Star caller (Lightning) Hybrid Melee/Ranged High AoE damage, flexible, top DPS
  • S Wizard (Fire/Ice) Ranged Mage AoE powerhouse, support heal, crit build
  • A Katana Mobile Melee Fast and agile, gap closers, good debuffs
  • A Stellar Sphere Ranged Support Strong AoE + team buffs, good utility
  • B Duelist Single Target Debuff High burst, tricky setup, great in bossing
  • B Floating Cannon New AoE Elementalist Unique mechanics, untested but promising

1. Duelist – The Setup-Heavy Assassin

Duelist is a melee class focused on stacking debuffs and dealing massive single-target damage. You build up butterfly stacks through fast attacks, then spend them to power up your Holy-element nuke. It also has a strong somersault skill for evasion and bonus damage.

Good for: Players who like planning ahead and rewarding burst damage.
Weakness: Requires setup and timing.

2. Katana – Fast, Flashy, and Mobile

Katana brings fire, storm, and physical damage in a close-range package. It excels at moving in and out of battle, landing quick combos, and stacking debuffs through the Soul Gauge mechanic. The Soul Storm skill has low cooldowns, making it great for pressure play.

Good for: Players who like high-speed melee combat.
Weakness: Less durable, depends on mobility.

3. Star caller – Melee or Ranged Flex DPS

Star caller is a hybrid class with two modes: lightning (ranged cannon) and holy (melee hammer). You can lean fully into one element for major stat boosts, or balance both to unlock unique skills. Full lightning builds are especially strong, offering top-tier AoE and boss damage.

Good for: Flexible players who want to switch playstyles.
Strength: Strongest DPS when built for lightning.

4. Wizard – The Elemental Powerhouse

Wizard controls four elements but is best played as fire or ice. With long-range AoEs, elemental marks, and passive damage fields, this class can destroy groups of enemies from afar. It also offers a rare team-wide heal and debuff cleanse.

Good for: Players who like standing back and nuking enemies.
Bonus: Has one of the only heals in the game.

5. Stellar Sphere – AoE King and Team Buffer

This dark/physical ranged class is all about massive area damage and group utility. You get to pick from six party-wide buffs depending on the situation, like healing, damage, or defense. Stellar Sphere is perfect for players who want to stay at range while supporting the team.

Good for: Support-minded players who still want big damage.
Strength: Best AoE potential in-game.

6. Floating Cannon – The New Contender

The newest class in Aura Kingdom Impact. Floating Cannon uses fire and ice attacks from range and can even alter enemy elemental types to match your skills. While still new and not fully tested, it shows strong potential with elemental adaptability and solid AoE focus.

Good for: Players who want something new and experimental.
Note: May shift tiers as more data comes in.

Aura Kingdom Impact offers a solid lineup of classes, each with its own strengths and playstyle. Whether you want to go all-in on damage, support your team, or balance both, there’s something here for everyone. Based on early impressions, Star caller and Wizard stand out as the top-tier picks, but thanks to the weapon switch system, you’re free to explore every class at your own pace. Jump in, test out each style, and find the one that suits you best. No need to stress about the “perfect” choice—just focus on having fun and mastering your journey in Aura Kingdom Impact.
