Where to Find Evil Eye (Jiji)

The Evil Eye NPC doesn’t show up automatically. You’ll need to go to Jungle Island, which is where the NPC spawns. To unlock the boss fight:
- Defeat 100 mobs in total (not 100 on each island).
- Once you hit that number, the Evil Eye boss will spawn.
This is a quick and straightforward grind compared to some other unlocks in the game.
Evil Eye Boss Drops
After defeating the Evil Eye boss, you’ll receive the following items:
- 1x Curse Ball
- 5x Third Eye Souls
- 1x Third Eye Trait
You’ll also find the seller/NPC on Jungle Island, the same place the boss spawns. These items are necessary to unlock the Evil Eye special.
What Does the Evil Eye Special Do?

Evil Eye (Jiji) currently has four moves, and it doesn’t require any enchantments to use. Here are the key points:
- The C move activates a mode that makes you immune to damage for a short period.
- It seems to be designed more for support than direct DPS.
- The Third Eye Trait is of Celestial rarity, giving a major boost to your special stat.
Despite its unique look, the move set is fairly basic right now. The range is limited, and without a fifth move (like an F move), its combat utility is questionable.
Is It Worth Getting?
Let’s be honest — while it’s easy to obtain, Evil Eye isn’t very strong at the moment. Compared to top-tier specials like Gilgamesh, which offers both great support and damage output, Evil Eye feels underwhelming.
- Easy to get
- Cool concept
- Low performance in battle
Unless you’re a collector or just want to try something new, there are better options in the game for serious PvE or PvP. The Evil Eye (Jiji) special in Verse Piece is an easy unlock, but its usefulness is limited unless future updates add more powerful moves or adjustments. If you’re curious, it’s worth checking out — but don’t expect it to replace your main. Stay tuned for more Verse Piece updates and guides coming soon!
