IronMouse has officially announced that she’s leaving VShojo, and it’s been an emotional moment for both her and her community. While she wasn’t able to share everything due to legal reasons, she opened up about several key issues that led to her decision, and her story has caught the attention of many online.

What Happened Between IronMouse and VShojo?

According to IronMouse, her departure is connected to a serious financial issue. She said she was misled by VShojo over the past few months and now believes she is owed a large amount of money. But more importantly, the charity she cares about most — the Immune Deficiency Foundation — is also owed over $500,000, which has not been paid by VShojo despite promises.

This charity is extremely close to her heart. IronMouse has CVID, a rare immune disorder, and the foundation helped her during some of her hardest times. That’s why she worked hard to raise money for them over the years, especially through subathons and charity events.

Her Start in VTubing

IronMouse became a VTuber because of her health. Living with CVID meant she couldn’t go outside often, so streaming became her way to connect with people. At first, she didn’t think it would go anywhere — she just wanted to make friends. She began using an anime avatar with an app called FaceRig because she didn’t want to appear on camera.

Eventually, she gained a following and was invited to join VShojo in 2020. At the time, it felt like a big opportunity, but she also had many worries about losing her privacy and trusting a company with her identity and income.

How Things Broke Down

IronMouse says that for a long time, VShojo handled all her payments. That helped her feel safer, especially since she didn’t want to give out personal information. But when she decided to manage her own finances, things started to fall apart. She discovered that the large charity donation from her last big subathon — over half a million dollars — was never sent to the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

That was heartbreaking for her. She and Connor (CDawgVA) had worked hard to raise close to $4 million for the charity over time. The missing donation, plus money she says she’s owed personally, pushed her to leave the company. She also mentioned feeling pressured to stay with VShojo, being told she was “needed” for the company’s success. Over time, that made her uncomfortable and overwhelmed.

What Happens Now?

Right now, IronMouse is back to being an independent VTuber. She says she’s sad, confused, and still processing everything. She wants to share more details, but her lawyer has told her to wait until the legal process moves forward.

In the meantime, she’s apologized to both the charity and her fans. She plans to donate all the ad revenue from her recent announcement video directly to the Immune Deficiency Foundation. She’s also planning a live stream event to raise more funds for them — hoping to bring positivity and show that the VTuber community can still do good things.

IronMouse’s exit from VShojo has shaken up the VTuber space. While we don’t have the full story yet, what’s clear is that she’s passionate about her community, her health journey, and the causes she supports. As legal matters unfold, fans are standing by her, waiting for more answers and hoping for a resolution that brings peace and accountability.
