A fresh face has appeared in the Genshin Impact beta Ineffa. With her robotic design and unusual weapon, she’s already catching attention. But is she just a visual standout, or does her gameplay offer something new? This article breaks down her kit, role, and whether she’s worth your Primogems. Also check out the new Daddy Varka.

What Kind of Character Is Ineffa?

Ineffa is an Electro character with a mechanical theme—and yes, she fights using something that looks like a vacuum cleaner. As strange as that sounds, her animations feel polished and surprisingly fitting for the weapon choice.

Despite the odd equipment, Ineffa isn’t just a gimmick. She brings something new to the table with her small robot companion, Birgitta. When summoned through her Elemental Skill, Birgitta deals AoE Electro damage and provides a shield for the team, giving her strong support potential.

Her Elemental Burst gives her an Electro infusion and a burst of high damage in a short time. Right now, Ineffa fits best as a sub-DPS or support, not a main damage dealer.

Introducing a New Reaction: Lunar Charged

One of the biggest highlights of Ineffa is her new reaction, Lunar Charged, which replaces Electro-Charged when she’s in the party. Lunar Charged scales with Elemental Mastery and can crit, which is rare for DoT (damage over time) reactions.

It’s flashy and feels fresh, but in terms of raw power, it hasn’t shown a clear edge over existing reactions just yet. This new mechanic seems designed to work with future characters, possibly from the upcoming Nod Krai region.

Should You Pull for Ineffa?

Right now, Ineffa is a fun and different character, but she’s not essential. Her team options are still limited, especially since Hydro characters don’t yet fully support her new reaction. She also doesn’t have a signature artifact set. Current best options are Gilded Dreams or Tenacity of the Millelith, but these are just placeholders for now.

If you’re interested in her design or want to prepare for upcoming team comps in future updates, Ineffa could be a smart early investment. But if your focus is meta damage or team efficiency, it might be wiser to wait for more synergy options or stronger characters down the line. What do you think—will you roll for Ineffa, or are you saving your Primogems for something else?
