Saint Seiya EX has just introduced a brand-new limited character in its third-week banner, and this time it’s Freya – a pure healer support unit. If you’re wondering whether Freya is worth pulling or not, this guide will break down her strengths, weaknesses, and overall value in your team.

Unlike previous banners like Saga’s, Freya’s release doesn’t come with additional events, bonus rewards, or exchangeable items. This makes her banner feel a bit underwhelming in terms of value. Also, since Freya is a limited hero, upgrading her can be tough. Without event support or extra gift codes, raising her star level will require a lot more diamonds or summon tickets. Check out our Saint Seiya EX Codes and Saint Seiya EX Tier list for players.

Who is Freya in Saint Seiya EX?

Freya is a dedicated healing support character whose entire skillset revolves around keeping your team alive. Unlike some support characters who offer buffs or crowd control, Freya focuses solely on healing and sustaining her allies during battle.

Freya’s Skills – A Full-On Healing Specialist

  • Ultimate Heal: Freya’s ultimate skill heals three teammates over 12 seconds. As this skill levels up, its healing potency increases significantly.
  • Healing Link: This unique skill links allies together. When one of them gets healed, others connected to them also receive healing.
  • Auto Healing: She can automatically heal the ally with the lowest HP, and even has a passive ability that triggers healing whenever she takes damage.

Her healing capabilities make her an ideal pick for defensive strategies or double-healer formations.

Freya’s Weaknesses – Low Damage, Very Passive

Freya’s biggest drawback is her lack of offensive power. She has only one skill that deals area magical damage, and it’s more of a support debuff that reduces enemy healing rather than a true DPS move. If you prefer fast-paced, high-damage playstyles, Freya might feel too passive or ineffective in more aggressive team comps.

Should You Pull for Freya?

Freya is a solid pick if you enjoy building defensive teams or want to experiment with dual healer strategies. Her healing potential is impressive, and she can bring real value in extended fights. However, if you’re focused on offense or competitive play that favors burst damage, Freya might not add much impact to your lineup.

She’s not a must-pull, but definitely a worthwhile option if you have extra resources and enjoy support roles. If you’ve saved up enough diamonds or purple tickets, Freya is a nice addition – just not essential. For players waiting for more meta-defining or game-changing units, it might be smarter to hold off for a stronger banner.
