How To Activate SPOILED Zen Mode GRACE Spread the Love Update Guide
Zen Mode in Grace is supposed to be peaceful. It’s a mode where enemies don’t chase you, and players can explore calmly. But the Spread the Love update changed things—now there’s a way to “spoil” this calm mode and turn it into something more intense. If you’ve heard about someone dying in Zen Mode, chances are they triggered SPOILED Zen Mode. This guide will explain how to unlock Spoiled Zen Mode, what to expect once it’s active, and some tips to survive it. Also check out our Grace Entities Guide for the game newest update.
What Is SPOILED Zen Mode?
Spoiled Zen Mode is a hidden twist to the normal Zen experience. Normally, you’re supposed to enjoy Zen without any dangers, but by doing a certain action, you’ll awaken a dangerous state where enemies can return, and speed and reaction become key.
How to Activate SPOILED Zen Mode

Here’s how to trigger the mode step-by-step:
- Enter Zen Mode from the main lobby. It’s usually described as peaceful, with no death.
- Find the Falling Star. While progressing through the rooms, look around for a star in the sky or environment. This star is the key to activating the Spoiled state.
- Look at the Star. Once you spot it, stare at it. You don’t have to press anything, just keep your camera focused on it. After a few seconds, the screen will glitch or change, and a new effect will trigger.
- Touch the Eye. Once the visual change occurs, a strange object (referred to as “the eye”) will appear. Go toward it and touch it.
- You Are Now in SPOILED Zen Mode. After this, enemies will begin to chase you, and the pace of the game increases drastically.
What Happens After Activation?

- Your screen will start to glitch.
- The world becomes darker and more hostile.
- An entity named Sim may start chasing you.
- You’ll gain the ability to go extremely fast.
- You’ll begin earning an insane number of points and score ratings (S+, S++, etc).
- If you’re too slow or hit obstacles, you will die, even though it’s technically Zen Mode.
Tips to Survive in SPOILED Zen Mode
- Keep moving. Speed is key. The longer you stay in one place, the more likely you’ll get caught.
- Avoid hitting the ground. Try to keep jumping or moving smoothly to avoid getting stuck.
- Use cover wisely. If chased, use room corners and jumps to slow enemies down.
- Don’t panic when vision gets blurry. It’s part of the mode’s visual effects.
Spoiled Zen Mode turns a chill experience into a chaotic, high-speed challenge in Grace. It’s a great way to test your skills, and some players report getting massive score boosts from completing rooms under this condition.
If you’re bored of the usual Zen run or want a bigger challenge, triggering Spoiled Zen Mode is worth trying. Just be ready to move fast, react even faster, and possibly rage a little when things don’t go your way. Good luck out there—and don’t blink when the star shows up.
