In the latest Spread the Love update for Grace, players can now get access to a powerful offensive tool: the Pistol. How to Get the Pistol
To obtain the Pistol, you must activate a specific game modifier called “the undead comign” before starting your run. This modifier is only available when you play in RETRO Mode, which is a distinct game setting designed for special modifiers and challenges.
Once this modifier is enabled and you start your game, the pistol will automatically be added to your inventory. There’s no need to search for it or unlock it through doors — it’s instantly available.
How the Pistol Works
- Type: Offense (exclusive to Zomber enemies)
- Ammo: Comes with 9 bullets
- Reloading: The pistol automatically reloads after all bullets are used, or you can manually reload at any time by pressing R on your keyboard.
- Design: The pistol looks like an M1911 and includes a red laser to help with aiming.
- Effectiveness: One shot is enough to kill any Zomber that’s within its range.
However, it’s important to note that the pistol can only damage Zombers. It won’t work against other entities like Carnation, Goatman, or Slugfish.
If you’re playing with a controller, there’s currently a known bug where the pistol won’t fire, and instead, the game will only trigger a reload animation. If you rely on controller input, it’s safer to switch to keyboard and mouse when using the pistol until this bug gets fixed in a future patch.
