What Is the Expedition System?
The Expedition System in Arise Crossover allows you to send your Shadows on missions while you’re away. These missions take a set amount of time to complete and are entirely automated. During this time, your selected Shadows cannot be used in regular gameplay. The system is perfect for players who want to make use of idle periods or experiment with training backup Shadows without interrupting their main play sessions.
When Should You Use Expeditions?
There are two ideal situations:
- While you’re online: Use Shadows that aren’t part of your main team to train or contribute passively.
- While you’re offline: Send out your strongest or most balanced team to ensure higher success and rewards during long gaps (like sleeping or going to school/work).
Missions can range from 1 hour to over 10 hours, depending on the rarity and tier of the Expedition.
How To Start an Expedition
- Go to the Arise Guild Tower in Levelling City and find the Expedition NPC.
- Approach the NPC to trigger the Expedition menu.
- Pick your mission: Missions vary in duration and rarity. You’ll need to meet minimum damage requirements to start an Expedition. Most missions allow 3 Shadows, with some longer ones allowing 4.
- Assign your team: Only use Shadows that meet the minimum damage. Adding stronger Shadows doesn’t reduce the waiting time. If your damage threshold is met, there’s no need to fill with overpowered units.
- Launch the Expedition and wait until your Shadows return.
All Possible Expedition Rewards
Completing an Expedition will grant your Shadows a variety of resources. These can be used to strengthen your team, upgrade Shadows, or rank up faster. Here are the types of rewards you might receive:
Dust Types:
- Common Dust
- Rare Dust
- Legendary Dust
Core Materials:
- Common Core
- Rare Core
- Epic Core
- Legendary Core
- Shadow Core
Other Rewards:
- EXP
- Battle EXP
- Tickets
- Tier Kills
These rewards scale with the difficulty and rarity of the Expedition. The longer and harder the Expedition, the better the loot potential.
The Expedition System in Arise Crossover is one of the best passive features the game has to offer. Whether you’re actively playing or planning a long offline break, Expeditions ensure your progress continues behind the scenes. It’s a smart use of resources, especially when you’re trying to upgrade your Shadows or collect essential materials. Make it a habit to check in with the Expedition NPC and plan accordingly—your future self will thank you.
