Mechanically, the staff functions by attracting and duplicating a corruption orb, which then mutates nearby plants. This effect only triggers during the Corrupted Aura weather. Be warned — the staff is temporary. After five uses, it disappears and cannot be stored in your inventory.
How to Unlock the Corrupt Staff
To get your hands on the Corrupt Staff, you’ll need to interact with a specific NPC:
- NPC: Corrupt Channeler
- Location: Hub area (center of the map)
The Corrupt Channeler will ask for Tranquil Mutation Fruits, which need to match specific weight and crop types. These fruits can be grown during the Zen Aura weather using special Tranquil pets or tools. Once you’ve collected the requested items:
