In Roblox’s Ink Game, staying one step ahead of your competition is the key to survival. If you want to send other players flying and gain a tactical edge, learning how to kick is essential. Here’s everything you need to know about how kicking works, the Power required to do it, and which game modes are perfect for putting your skills to use. How To Kick in Ink Game

Kicking isn’t a default move in Ink Game — you can’t just walk up to someone and boot them across the map. To unlock the kick ability, you’ll need to roll and equip a specific Power called Trickster.

Trickster is a rare Power with only a 12% chance of being rolled. You’ll need Power Rolls to try your luck at unlocking it. If you’re not sure how to get Power Rolls, check out a guide on how to unlock Powers in Ink Game for detailed steps. Once you get Trickster, you gain access to two unique abilities:

  • Banana Peel: Every 60 seconds, you can throw a banana on the ground. Anyone who steps on it gets ragdolled temporarily.
  • Trip: This is the real deal. When activated, Trip allows you to kick another player, knocking them down for longer than a typical push. It’s an effective way to disrupt others or make a quick getaway.

Best Times to Use Kicking in Game Modes

Not every situation calls for a kick, but in the right moment, it can be a game-changer. Here’s how to use it to your advantage in different rounds:

1. Red Light Green Light

Right before the finish line, kick a player so they move during a red light — they’ll get shot and eliminated. Just make sure you’re clear of the danger zone.

2. Lights Out

Being chased? Kick your attacker to stun them, giving you a chance to escape and hide somewhere safer before they catch up.

3. Hide and Seek

If you’re a Hider and a Seeker is hot on your tail, use Trip to kick them away and buy yourself precious seconds to vanish from sight.

4. Glass Bridge

Is someone taking too long deciding which tile to step on? Line up your angle and give them a solid kick — if they fall, that’s one less player in your way.

Kicking in Ink Game isn’t something you can do out of the box — you’ll need the Trickster Power, which is both rare and incredibly useful. Once you’ve got it, mastering the Trip ability can give you an edge in high-stakes rounds where timing and aggression count. Whether you’re sabotaging others in Red Light Green Light or saving yourself in Lights Out, a well-timed kick can turn the tide in your favor.
