One Post Might Spoil the Whole Story of Honkai Star Rail 3.5
Honkai Star Rail fans might want to be careful online right now. A single post has started to spread across the community, and it could spoil the entire plot of Version 3.5. This happened even before the official update or livestream went live.
The special program for Version 3.5 was originally expected earlier, but it has now been delayed to August 2nd, which is a Saturday. According to sources, the delay is because August 1st is People’s Liberation Army Day in China. Since it’s a national event, all official online activities, including game updates and announcements, have been moved back a day. That means drip marketing will likely start on August 3rd.
Now, here’s where the spoiler comes in, The title of Version 3.5 is reportedly “Before Their Deaths”. At first, some players thought this meant we’d see the deaths of characters like Hera or Screwllum, but that’s not the case. Based on leaked details and a recent post, it actually refers to Cerydra and Hysilens.

What happened is that a document meant to recap Feain’s journey appeared online. It had an error pop-up in the middle, with a message saying that Dux Gladiorum killed their “Liege” (likely meaning Cerydra). This line alone strongly hints that Cerydra is killed by Hysilens, confirming an intense turn in the story.
If this is true, it also points to something even bigger—a war between Aeons might be happening in this version. While nothing has been confirmed officially, this one post may have given away the entire setup for 3.5 before we even got the livestream.
