The 99 Nights in the Forest Snow Biome update brings not just new enemies and gear, but also four limited-time event badges. These badges are tied to specific tasks in the snowy zone, and if you want to unlock them all before they’re gone, now’s the time to act. This guide will walk you through how to get each event badge step-by-step, so you don’t miss out on any of them.

1. Reconstruction Badge – Build the Snowman

The first badge is tied to a small but fun task: rebuilding a snowman.

How to do it:

  • Head into the Snow Biome and explore until you find a snowman without a nose.
  • Once located, you’ll need to place a carrot on the snowman’s face.
  • After placing the carrot on its nose, you’ll instantly unlock the badge.

Tip: Carrots can be found in various farm or garden areas throughout the map. Grab one before heading deep into the snow biome.

2. Knitting Badge – Craft Warm Clothing

This badge rewards players for crafting 10 pieces of warm clothing. What you need:

  • Visit the snow biome crafting station, found in a small building within the cold region.

Use materials like Arctic Fox Pelts and Polar Bear Pelts to craft:

  • Ear Muffs
  • Beanies
  • Arctic Fox Hats
  • Polar Bear Hats

Once you’ve crafted 10 total items, the badge will unlock automatically.

Focus on Arctic Foxes for easier farming; they’re weaker than polar bears.

3. Ice Sculpting Badge – Break the Frozen Treasure

For this badge, you’ll need to head to the Ice Temple, one of the new structures in the biome. Steps to get it:

  • Explore the Snow Biome until you locate the Ice Temple.
  • Inside, look for a frozen treasure encased in ice.
  • Break the ice and loot the treasure.

Doing so will immediately unlock the Ice Sculpting badge.

A strong melee weapon or explosive can help break the ice faster.

4. Wilderness Hunting Badge – Kill Polar Bears and Mammoths

The final badge requires some combat. What to do:

  • Kill 10 Mammoths – tough enemies, but they drop lots of food.
  • Kill 20 Polar Bears – dangerous but essential for warm gear and the badge.

Bring friends or upgrade your armor and weapons before attempting. These enemies are no joke.

Unlocking all four event badges in the 99 Nights in the Forest Snow Biome update is definitely doable—but it requires exploration, crafting, and combat. Each badge highlights a different part of the update, so it’s worth doing all of them not just for the rewards, but for the full experience. Whether you’re rebuilding snowmen, crafting winter gear, or taking down mammoths, make sure to complete these before the event ends.
