Whether you chose the wrong shrine or simply want to switch, this guide will explain exactly how to remove and unbind a shrine in RogueBlox.

Shrines in RogueBlox are powerful entities that grant you skills and enhancements when you make a pact with them. But there’s a tradeoff: binding your soul to a shrine prevents you from using or learning others. This makes it important to choose wisely—but luckily, there’s a way to undo the choice.

How to Remove a Shrine in RogueBlox

If you want to remove your shrine, you’ll need to visit a specific NPC named Roplex. Here’s how to do it:

1. Go to the Forest Pylon. From here, head toward the Tundra Gate (if unlocked).
2. Use your climbing gear, mana abilities, and glider to navigate through the forest area.
3. Locate a bridge, then glide down near it and enter a hole on the ground.
4. At the bottom, you’ll meet Roplex, a mysterious NPC who can help with shrine removal.
5. Interact with Roplex and choose the dialogue options: “I seek benefits from your power.”
6. Then select “Shrine” and pay 1,000 silver for the removal.

At this point, your shrine will be removed, but your soul will still be tainted.

How to Unbind Your Soul After Shrine Removal

Even after removing the shrine, you can’t accept a new one unless you unbind your soul. Here’s how to complete the process:

1. Get wiped (reset your character progress).
2. After respawning, head to the Crimson Realm.
3. Find the Prince’s Favor NPC.
4. Talk to the NPC and select the option: “Unbind my soul.”
5. Confirm your choice to remove the taint completely.

Once your soul is unbound, you’re free to form a pact with a new shrine.

Removing and unbinding a shrine in RogueBlox isn’t quick, but it gives you a second chance to build your character the way you want. Make sure you bring the needed silver, tools like a glider and climbing gear, and prepare for a reset to complete the process.
