How to Get Sushi Bear
You could get the Sushi Bear by hatching a Gourmet Egg, which was only available during the Cooking Event. Since the event has ended, the pet is currently not obtainable, though it might return in future events or special banners.
- Obtain Method: Gourmet Egg (during Cooking Event) with 11.5% Drop Chance
Sushi Bear Abilities
The Sushi Bear comes with two passives that work together to boost your fruit mutation chances while also helping your other pets stay well-fed.
1. Sushi Express
- Effect: Every 10 to 80 seconds, there is a 15% or higher chance that a nearby fruit becomes Chilled or Frozen.
- Use: This passive is especially useful for players trying to target cold-based mutations or traits.
2. Sushi Time
- Effect: Every 100 to 670 seconds, the bear throws a sushi at a random pet, feeding it for 1% to 50% of its hunger.
- Use: Great for keeping your team healthy without manual feeding. Helps with high-hunger pets and during AFK sessions.
The Sushi Bear is a balanced utility pet in Grow a Garden, offering helpful support for both mutation farming and pet maintenance. Its ability to passively apply Chilled/Frozen effects gives you more control over fruit development, while its feeding ability helps reduce micromanagement.
Though it’s no longer available, players who managed to hatch Sushi Bear during the Cooking Event have a strong and flexible pet on their hands. If you’re aiming for rare fruit outcomes or a more hands-free experience, Sushi Bear was an ideal pick.
