How to Start the Path to True Mode

Once you’ve beaten the first ring in Hellverse, you’ll notice that your Bankai, Vollständig, or Resurrection gets stolen by the boss in that area. However, that boss isn’t completely gone yet. You’ll need to continue your journey into the second ring, where the difficulty increases significantly. Before entering this next layer, your secondary mode will be taken away too. This is where the road to your True Shikai / Schrift / Partial begins.

What to Expect in the Second Ring

Upon entering the second ring, your first major challenge is fighting a mini-boss known as “The Alt”.

• The Alt isn’t the main boss but acts as a prelude to what’s coming.
• To beat Alt efficiently, make sure your team has: At least one ranged DPS One medic/healer
• You can only bring three players with you beyond this point, so coordination is key.

Once you take down the Alt, you’ll face the main boss of the second ring. This boss is highly dangerous because it uses The Miracle, a powerful ability that lets it revive repeatedly through multiple phases. To defeat the boss:

• Fight it through multiple forms: base, powered-up modes, and a final form.
• Expect it to pop Benihime and other strong moves, so stay mobile and defensive.
• Once defeated, you’ll trigger a cutscene where your character claims a medallion from the boss.

Unlocking Your True Mode

After winning the fight, you’ll be teleported out and automatically sent to Blair, an NPC who will help you with the medallion.

• Blair will repair the medallion, and this triggers another cutscene.
• This cutscene visually resembles a mini True Bankai transformation, officially confirming that you’ve unlocked True Shikai, True Schrift, or True Partial depending on your race.

What True Mode Actually Does

Unlocking True Shikai/Schrift/Partial doesn’t just add style—it also enhances your gameplay in meaningful ways.

• Your ability colors change based on your eye color. Example: If your eye color is pink, your Getsuga will be pink. A blue Shark attack may turn red if your eyes are red.
• Your moves also receive a significant damage buff across the board: Applies to Shikai moves, Resurrection moves, Schrift abilities, etc.

Currently, the system does not unlock True Bankai yet, but this is confirmed to be the first step toward full True Mode progression in the game.
