It’s a rough road filled with PvE, PvP, and timed bosses, but with the right preparation and some friends, you’ll hit your full potential. Let’s break down the full Quincy progression path step by step.

Getting Started as a Quincy

Once you begin your journey as a Quincy, you’ll spawn in as a Trainee. Your first objective is to complete mission quests to level up.

• Open Mission Board: Press , (comma) to access the board and start missions.
• Activate Quincy Weapon: Press Tab to summon your bow and arrows.
• Recommended Builds: Go with the Quick Hero or Speed skill trees early on. These will help you complete missions faster.
• Double XP: Using a 2x EXP boost is strongly advised. It significantly cuts down the early grind.

Keep running missions until you reach Grade 2. That’s when you can begin the Schrift quest — the first major milestone in Quincy progression.

Unlocking Schrift

Schrift is the core ability of your Quincy build, and it’s one of the hardest unlocks in the game.

How to Start the Schrift Quest:

1. Go to the Quincy Castle.
2. Speak to the Balance NPC to start your quest.
3. Head across the Quincy Bridge to the statue that activates the quest.

Schrift Quest Requirements:

You must complete a checklist of PvE and PvP kills:

• Kill 1 Aijo (NPC)
• Kill 2 Menos (NPCs)
• Kill 5 Fishbones (NPCs)
• Kill 3 Arrancar players
• Kill 3 Shinigami players

Important: You need to kill real player-controlled Arrancars and Shinigamis, not NPCs. Having friends on alt slots is the easiest way to get this done. Without help, this part can be extremely difficult.

After Completing the Quest:

Return to the statue to receive your Schrift. Congratulations — you’ve passed one of the most difficult sub-mode unlocks in the game.

Getting Your Letzt Stil / True Letzt Stil

• Win 26 Ranked Matches

You can check your Stage 1 progress:

• Press , (comma) while in Karakura Town (KT)
• Look for the “V: Unequaled and Unrivaled” quest
• Visit the barn marked on the map and speak to the NPC there

Once the dialogue tells you that you’re “Unequaled and Unrivaled,” you’re ready for Stage 2.

Stage 2: Hueco Mundo Grind

Now it’s time to travel to Hueco Mundo.

Requirements:

• Kill 1 Battle Snake (spawns every 40 minutes)
• Kill 50–80 Hollow NPCs
• Win 10–15 Elite Grade Grips

You’ll need a party for this section — especially for Battle Snake and Elite Grips. The progression gets easier (and faster) with friends, so plan accordingly.

Stage 3: Lightning Parry Challenge

This is the hardest part of Quincy progression.

• Go back to the Balance NPC.
• Accept the Lightning Parry Challenge.

Tips to Succeed:

• Play on low graphics mode for better reaction time.
• Server hop until you get low ping (ideally below 100ms).
• Focus — this is a reaction-based minigame where you must parry bolts of lightning.
