Type Soul Essences Guide All Essences – Soul Reaper, Quincy, Arrancar!

In Type Soul, Essences are special abilities that can enhance your combat performance and give you an edge in fights. Some Essences are available to all factions, while others are faction-specific.

How to Get Essence – Type Soul

To obtain any Essence, you’ll need to participate in Ranked matches and Clan Wars. These are the main sources of Essences in the game. Once you get one, make sure you’ve invested at least 40 points into the specific skill tree related to the Essence you want to equip. Some require more than that, or even special styles like Ultra Style, so make sure to read the requirements carefully.

1. Essences for All Factions

• Horizon Core Requires 45 Kendo Dashes you forward to strike the enemy. If it fails, they’re ragdolled instead.
• Territorial Mark Marks your opponent so only the two of you can damage each other for 20–25 seconds. Neither of you can heal during this time.
• Crazed Blitz A Hyper Armor grab that knocks back your opponent. Has both grounded and airborne versions.
• Unseen Blade Advanced Flashstep followed by an aerial slash. Works even better if you’re a Vizard.
• Extricate Costs 30% of your HP, but releases red orbs that seek out enemies. Also heals 20% HP and Reiatsu of allies. Requires 50 Medic.
• Orlando Furioso Summons a dice that rolls to 9. If the final strike lands, you perform a heavy combo attack.
• Serum W Requires Ultra Style, 250 Soul Style Points, and 50 Speed Dashes, grabs the enemy, and sends them crashing through dimensions before finishing with a heavy hit.
• Flame Blitz Requires 40 Hakuda Roar that gives you and allies the Dragon Eye buff, boosting HP regen, damage, and defense.

2. Soul Reaper Essences

• Teppusatsu Fires a Reiatsu beam for 5 seconds at your mouse direction.
• Gran Raikoho Knocks enemies back and stuns. Hitting multiple enemies increases damage.
• Raging Reiatsu Lets you bypass Bankai cooldown or reduce it to 60 seconds. However, Bankai only lasts 90 seconds.
• Chains of Domination Requires Ultra Style, 250 Soul Style, and 50 Kido Traps the enemy in chains, lifting you both up before slamming them down.

3. Quincy Essences

• Shattered Comet Fires an arrow that splits into Reiatsu shards, exploding on contact with the ground.
• True Blut Lets you activate both Arterie and Blut at once.
• Gerechtigkeit Requires 150 Soul Style, U Soul Style, and 50 Kido
  Launches the enemy upward and fires a massive arrow.
• Bambi’s Sphere Charges and throws a Reiatsu orb that explodes on impact.
• Judgement of the Sword Requires 45 Kendo Creates a damage-reflecting barrier made of ruins.
• Thousand Deaths Requires 50 Hakuda and Ultra Soul A fast dash followed by a flurry of punches and a powerful kick finisher.

4. Arrancar Essences

• Fusion Essence M1: Fuse with another Arrancar to boost damage and access all 3 True Vastocar variants. Shares HP with your partner. and M2: Boosts your damage but costs 30% HP and gives you a random True Vastocar variant.
• Bala Fireworks Fires multiple Bala projectiles that explode and deal area damage.
• Partial Essence Grants you 3 unique Partial skills.

Essences are powerful tools in Type Soul, but they require investment in Ranked or Clan content to unlock. Be strategic about which skill trees you level up, and always double-check the requirements before attempting to use a new Essence.
