How to Unlock Troodon & Hidden Horrors Badge Jurassic Genesis Guide

If you’re looking to add the Troodon to your collection in Jurassic Genesis, you’ll need to earn the Hidden Horrors badge. This guide breaks down the steps in a simple way so you can unlock this creepy dinosaur without getting lost or stuck. Check out our Jurassic genesis codes for more redeemable rewards!

Step 1: Get to the Lab

After spawning in the game, the first thing you should do is get yourself a vehicle—the old Ford Raptor is a good choice. Drive carefully down the road and follow the beach path. You don’t need to go all the way to the end of the beach, just stay close to the fence and keep driving until you find a secret lab inside a cave.

Once you reach the lab, enter through the front and explore. You’ll find rooms labeled Staff Room and Laboratory. In the lab, talk to Dr. Woo. He’ll mention needing help with some experiments and systems that went down during a breach.

Step 2: Crack the Safe

Inside the lab, you’ll find a safe that needs a code. The video guide shows the safe code to be:

  • 4927384579

Once you open the safe, you’ll get more dialogue that talks about quarantine pens, lost dinosaurs, and tracking data located in the Geothermal Plant. He also gives you the password you’ll need later:
sorcens

Step 3: Head to the Geothermal Plant

Exit the lab and hop back in your vehicle. Drive back along the beach road, but this time take a left where the road splits and head uphill. There will be trees, so be careful not to crash. Follow the path until you arrive at the Geothermal Plant building.

Inside, look for a computer terminal. Interact with it and enter the password:

  • S0RK1NS

If typed correctly, this will give you access to more info about the Hidden Horrors project, including notes on experiments involving the Troodon and D-Rex.

Step 4: Claim the Troodon

After accessing the terminal, you’ll receive the Hidden Horrors badge, unlocking the Troodon as a playable dinosaur in your collection. The model includes glowing eyes and new detailed textures. The updated graphics really make this creature stand out, especially compared to previous versions of the game. Before wrapping up, don’t forget to test out Troodon’s animations and roars to enjoy your new dino to the fullest.

Unlocking Troodon in Jurassic Genesis takes some driving, puzzle-solving, and navigating through the map, but it’s absolutely worth it. The eerie look and backstory of this creature add a lot to your collection. Keep exploring, and don’t forget—there might be more hidden projects and secrets waiting to be found.
