How To Get Every Badge In The New Outdoors Doors Update Guide!

The Doors Outdoors Update has arrived, introducing a fresh environment, new entities, and seven unique badges for players to collect. Some older badges have also been updated with new requirements. This guide walks you through how to earn every obtainable badge in the update, step-by-step.

1. Detour Badge

Requirement: Play the Outdoors Update and reach Door 90 with shears.

• Start in the hotel and make your way toward the courtyard to obtain the shears.
• Continue progressing until you reach Door 90.
• Use the shears in the garden section to manually navigate through the hotel into the outdoors.
• Completing this route will unlock the updated Detour badge.

2. A Bone to Pick

Requirement: Use a Skeleton Key.

• During your run, find and purchase or collect a Skeleton Key.
• Use it on any Skeleton Door.
• Doing this will grant you the A Bone to Pick badge.
• This can be earned while working toward the Detour badge if you bring a Skeleton Key along.

3. Touch the Grass

Requirement: Enter the Outdoors area.

• This one is simple: just step into the outdoors environment at any point in your run.
• The badge will unlock immediately.

4. Feed the Birds

Requirement: Feed bread to crows in the outdoors.

This is the most time-consuming badge in the update.

1. Complete Floor 2 to obtain a loaf of bread.
2. Store the bread in the rift.
3. Start a new hotel run, retrieve the bread from the rift, and make your way to Door 90.
4. Enter the outdoors and find the crows.
5. Feed the bread to the crows to earn the Feed the Birds badge.

5. Picking Flowers

Requirement: Collect and deliver eight rose petals.

• As you explore the outdoors, gather eight rose petals scattered around the map.
• Travel about 300 meters into the outdoors until you find Grampy, a new NPC and the father of the Groundskeeper.
• Give all eight petals to Grampy, who will craft a lotus for you.
• This will unlock the Picking Flowers badge.

6. Rebirth

Requirement: Use the lotus to revive.

• After receiving the lotus from Grampy, plant it somewhere safe in the outdoors.
• If you die, you’ll be revived at the lotus location.
• Using this revival once will grant the Rebirth badge.

7. Down the Water Spout

Requirement: Escape the outdoors.

• Progress through the outdoors area while avoiding the Bramble-style light mechanic: Only move when its light is off. When its light is on, stop immediately or take damage.
• Locate and pull the necessary levers to advance.
• Reach the exit to escape and unlock the Down the Water Spout badge.

8. Unreleased Badge: The Donut Badge (Ronan)

• This badge currently cannot be earned.
• As of now, no player has unlocked it, and the method to obtain it is unknown.
• Expect future updates or community discoveries to reveal how to get it.
