1. Starting the Game and Main Quests

But unlike many mobile games, the combat system here is fully manual. There’s no auto-battle in dungeons. You’ll need to control your character and fight enemies yourself, which adds challenge and skill to the gameplay.

2. Understanding the Stamina System (FTG)

Dragon Nest M Classic uses a stamina system called FTG. Every time you enter a dungeon or do certain activities, FTG decreases. This means you should pick your daily dungeons carefully to get the best rewards.

During the CBT, your character’s level was limited by the server’s World Level — for example, capped at level 32. When you hit this cap, you can’t continue main quests until the world level increases. Even if you still have FTG, you’ll need to wait. Use your stamina to run Abyss Dungeons or daily missions instead.

3. Daily FTG Reset and Efficiency Tips

FTG doesn’t refill gradually but resets completely once a day at a specific time. Any unused FTG will be lost, so make sure to use it all before the reset.

Be careful entering dungeons, as FTG is consumed immediately upon entry. If you fail or lose connection, you’ll lose FTG and potential rewards. For serious players, the Benefit Pass is worth considering since it provides about 100 extra stamina daily from special items.

4. Main Gameplay Cycle

The core gameplay loop is straightforward:

• Complete main quests.
• When stuck due to level cap, switch to Abyss or daily dungeons.
• Enter Nests, starting with Minotaur Nest to gather materials for Minotaur Gear.
• Progress to harder Nests like Cerberus for stronger gear.
• Upgrade and craft gear, then repeat with tougher dungeons.

5. Other Systems to Know

As you progress, you’ll unlock features like gear enhancement, adding potentials, and the heraldry system to boost stats. These might seem complex at first, but running dungeons and farming materials regularly will help you get the hang of them.
