How Race V2 Evolutions Work
Each race in Vox Seas has a special NPC who grants the V2 upgrade. To evolve, you’ll need to:
- Complete certain kill requirements using a specific fighting style.
- Defeat a particular boss multiple times.
- Pay a fragment cost or provide a rare item.
- Locate the evolution NPC on the correct island.
1. Human V2 – Captain Duran
Requirements:
- Kill 500 NPCs using Black Leg.
- Defeat the Ice King 3 times.
- Pay 1,500 fragments.
Location: Frost Island (Lv. 250–325), on the left side of the Ice Island castle.
2. Angel V2 – Serel, The Guardian of Light
Requirements:
- Kill 500 Sky NPCs using the Pole weapon.
- Defeat Enel 3 times.
- Pay 1,500 fragments.
Location: Skypiea Lower (Lv. 400–450), next to the yellow house with the orange roof.
3. Fish V2 – Nael
Requirements:
- Kill 500 NPCs using Water Kung-Fu.
- Defeat Lord Triton 3 times.
- Pay 1,500 fragments.
Location: Sharkman Park (Lv. 700–775), at the bottom of the island.
4. Mink V2 – Rakhan
Requirements:
- Kill 500 NPCs using Electric Claw.
- Defeat Thunder God 3 times.
- Pay 1,500 fragments.
Location: Werewolf’s Island (Lv. 25–100), on the highest hill behind a tree.
5. Dragon V2 – Kael’Vorr
Requirements:
- Defeat Admiral Vulkan 10 times.
- Offer 1 Blaze Fruit to Kael’Vorr.
Location: Vulcan Island (Lv. 625–700), on an isolated island to the right of the volcano island spawn.
Tips for Unlocking Race V2
- Prepare your fighting style first — you must use the required combat style for the kill quests.
