The Beanstalk Event is the next major addition coming to Grow a Garden on Roblox, and thanks to leaks, we now know exactly what’s in store. How the Beanstalk Event Works
The Beanstalk Event centers around growing a massive Beanstalk plant with the help of the entire server. Players must feed the Beanstalk a variety of specific plants, such as:
- Tropical Plants
- Prickly Plants
- Candy Plants
- Woody Plants (likely pinecone-related)
Once fed enough, the Beanstalk grows tall enough to climb. The higher it grows, the more rewards and features unlock. The Beanstalk will eventually decay after a set time, requiring everyone to regrow it.
Rewards for Climbing the Beanstalk
At the top of the Beanstalk, players will find:
- Collectible Orbs – Press “E” to claim items like Reclaimers and Sprinklers.
- Two NPCs – The Golden Goose and the Giant, each offering unique interactions.
Goliath’s Goods Shop
Speaking to the Giant opens the Goliath’s Goods shop, where you can purchase:
- New Seeds: Canary Melon, Mandre, and more.
- New Eggs: Includes rare pets with percentage-based drop rates.
- Golden Goose Pet
- Jackalope Pet – Every 100 seconds, has a 15% chance to mutate nearby fruit.
- Pet Pouch – Increases pet inventory. Craftable using a Hot Dog, Small Treat, and Small Toy.
- Fertilizer – Turns a plant silver for two hours, possibly affecting mutations or growth speed.
- Spriggan – Occasionally spreads roots, giving nearby fruit a balloon mutation.
Note: Certain items are locked until the Beanstalk is grown a set number of times.
The Portal and Cloud Area
Once unlocked, the Beanstalk’s portal teleports you to a cloud platform containing more rewards. This portal also requires a certain growth level before it can be accessed.
Event Tips & Preparation
To prepare for the Beanstalk Event:
- Stock Up on Plants – Focus on tropical, prickly, candy, and woody varieties.
- Save Currency – Many shop items cost in-game money, so farm ahead of time.
- Work with the Server – Beanstalk growth is a group effort, so coordinate.
- Act Fast – The event runs on a timer before the Beanstalk decays.
Daily Quests
The event also includes new daily quests like harvesting apples or strawberries, rewarding special seed packs and even rainbow pet eggs.
How This Event Compares
While the Beanstalk Event shares similarities with past events (like the Zen event), it introduces new mechanics such as the Spriggan mutation spread and Fertilizer effects. Still, the core loop—grow, climb, collect—remains familiar.
The Beanstalk Event offers some interesting rewards, but its structure feels like a remix of older Grow a Garden events.
